  1. Young Maori need to get the rest of their peers on the roll and get them out to vote .As a boomer I have joined the Maori roll and intend to vote Maori and green because they are the only two parties that want every person in NZ to be lifted out of poverty .Their policies will not suit all people but will help the 70% that are in deep shit right now .
CHANGE is what is needed for NZ to become a great nation .We are more than meat ,wool and milk .
Our biggest driver of growth will be getting ALL people working together as a whole for the betterment of ALL not just the 10% .
When Jacinda was PM the 10% sent her an open letter in the Herald asking to be taxed more .Over 100 were named on the list .Where are those same 100 now are they lining up to ask Luxon to tax them more ?no they are reaping the extra income he sends their way and paying 9% tax on a good day .
Yes they as a group pay a lot of tax but they should be paying 25% like my son who earns 90K on a good year .

  2. Winston has too much to say for himself. He believes he is right about everything as well as untouchable. He needs to stop making statements that verge on lies and stick to the plain facts. Great that young Maori are taking up the challenge and making sure they are enrolled. Important they KEEP CHECKING, as not that long ago names were being removed! I agree, Maori NEVER ceded sovereignty and believe that the Treaty is a sacrosanct document that should NEVER be meddled with as it was signed in good faith by Maori and the Crown. This CoC is guilty of a breach of contract regarding our Treaty so how come they were able to do that? It’s unconscionable and shows a complete lack of moral stature. Shame on Winston, Seymour and Luxon – it will come back and bite them!
