Farage left fighting a trash can as the UK populist leader’s election gamble backfires

A political gamble looks like it has spectacularly backfired.

When British right-wing populist leader Nigel Farage announced he was resigning as a lawmaker and triggering a special election in the face of a swirl of allegations over personal financing, he sought the high ground, declaring that the “judges of my actions” should be his constituents.

Instead, rival parties dismissed his actions as a stunt and said they would sit out the election, leaving his principal opponent as a garbage-can wearing comedian whose policies include forcing rule-breaking cyclists to ride unicycles.

He’s Oswald Mosley without the snappy dress sense.

I think Farage is the worst mutation of UK Politics since the British Union of Fascists and Margaret Thatcher.

He is an islamophobic hate grifter who has manipulated the culture war backlash that the middle class woke generated.

Modern Democracy has failed because the system of Government is wedded to enabling the rich while reducing services to the poor, and despite Farage being a private school Commodity Trader with Billionaire Crypto mates, he pretends he doesn’t represent the establishment.

He has leapt upon the fecklessness of Labour and the awfulness of the Conservatives and manipulated peoples petty bigotries into something very ugly and evil.

His political stunt to call a by-election to avoid the scrutiny over the corrupt £5 million ‘gift’ from a Crypto Billionaire has gone tits up with his main opponent now the glorious ‘Bin Man’.

Farage deserves contempt and ridicule, fighting against a Joke candidate is the perfect fuck you to his grift.
