note/question to moderator:..
it’s no big deal..in the grand scheme of things..but i am kinda puzzled as to how/why my gravatar disappeared/no longer appears..
..it can’t be on artistic-grounds as it is an original art-work..done by a local cultural-icon..chris knox..(it being his depiction of/memories of me in my 20’s)..so..?
..so if a software glitch/hiccup caused the disappearance..should i just resubmit..?..
..and if for other reasons could i plse have a why for?..
I have a bit of a dilemma:
Every time I hear Turei speak, I am in agreement……
….. but then ……
Every time I hear Shaw speak, all I hear is bullshit corporate-speak that appears to be so ingrained it’ll challenge my intention to flick them a vote.
Labour’s out until after they prove themselves (based on the fact that whilst they might EXPECT support, they’ve so badly abused their traditional base that they can’t be trusted) So 2020 (maybe)
Then who?
Insert relevant Douglas Adams quote:
…Ford explained, “On [that] world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people.”
“Odd,” said Arthur, “I thought you said it was a democracy.”
“I did,” said ford. “It is.”
“So,” said Arthur, hoping he wasn’t sounding ridiculously obtuse, “why don’t the people get rid of the lizards?”
“It honestly doesn’t occur to them,” said Ford. “They’ve all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they’ve voted in more or less approximates to the government they want.”
“You mean they actually vote for the lizards?”
“Oh yes,” said Ford with a shrug, “of course.”
“But,” said Arthur, going for the big one again, “why?”
“Because if they didn’t vote for a lizard,” said Ford, “the wrong lizard might get in.”
Armed Militia In Flint Arrives To Get Answers To Water Crisis, Gives Government Ultimatum

They say they will use armed force if nescesary to “defend” Flint from the government.
Standing around in camo with holstered weapons, waving around Gadsden flags etc.
It’s worth noting that Flint is a predominantly black city. I think, regardless of the militia’s intents and motivations (whatever they may be), a lot of black people are going to be deeply suspicious of them. Whether said suspicion is justified or not I don’t know, but it’s going to be there.
This could get interesting.
Oh, and, did the Dow just drop another 200 points. The conspiracy theorist in me says it’s connected in some way. But I haven’t had my morning coffe so I’ll think it over later
