Seymour + Winston vs IEA’s executive director and JP Morgan

Ok.
So this was Winston Peters 3 weeks ago…

…3 weeks later, he’s still wrong.
Now here’s David Seymour singing the same tune…
Seymour optimistic about ‘continuity of fuel supply without restrictions’
Deputy Prime Minister David Seymour is optimistic about “continuity of fuel supply” without the need for restrictions.
Seymour, speaking to Stuff in Auckland on Sunday, was responding to the latest developments in the Middle East conflict, including the downing of an American fighter jet in Iran and the continuation of missile strikes across the region.
Stuff
…so you have Winston (who has already been proven wrong) and Seymour telling us not to panic, everything is fine and this tiny little blip won’t matter.
That’s easy for Right Wing NZ Politicians who refuse to criticise Trump and Israel for starting this illegal war to tell us this will all be over soon as we get kicked in the balls every time we fill up at the petrol station.
So what does IEA’s executive director say?
The global energy crisis caused by the war in Iran is equivalent to the combined force of the twin oil shocks of the 1970s and the fallout of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the head of the International Energy Agency has warned.
Fatih Birol, the IEA’s executive director, said the growing fallout could be seriously compounded through interuptions to the “vital arteries of the global economy”, including petrochemicals, fertilisers, sulphur and helium.
…worse than the 1970s oil shock and the Ukraine war COMBINED!!!!!
And what does JP Morgan say?

…right, so you can chose to listen to JP Morgan and the Executive Director of the IEA OR two right wing politicians involved in the Marsden Point fiasco, scrapping EV subsides and building a gas plant for the gas industry whose entire election narrative is the Left overspent in a crisis so there is no crisis now.
How’s that price at the pump?
The difference between the Left and the Right in a crisis is that the Left help you to your feet, give you a cuddle and pay the cost. If you fall while the Right are in power they kick you for falling over, sneer at you for being so weak and tell you the free market will solve the issue.
How’s that price at the pump?

The reason this RW CoC-up is facing an enormous hurdle is patently clear. Seymour, Peters and the hapless Luxon haven’t a clue! They can’t fix this with “wishful thinking”. They are all part of this “failed” CoC so this is upon them and their parties! Wake up; grow up and STOP LYING to our NZ people.
What solutions has Chris Hipkins put forward. ?
At least the Greens have put forward a plan and true to form TPM have ranted but no plan
