Labour’s $18b budget hole vs National’s $56b budget hole (a plague on all your holes)
It’s the battle of the Budget Holes!
Finance Minister Nicola Willis claimed Labour has a $18billion budget hole (National used the same tactic in 2017 when Steven Joyce claimed a $17b budget hole)
Labour Party Finance Spokesperson Barbara Edmonds has responded ‘nonsense, what about your $56Billion dollar hole in the Roads of National Significance Budget.
Nicola’s attack is theoretical because Labour haven’t provided their policies yet, where as we all know about the RONS fiasco.
It’s funny that the Finance Minister is attacking debt when she is borrowing so much and doesn’t have the excuse of a once in a. century pandemic…
…Expect a lot more of this shouting about who is the best economic manager.
Here is the truth.
Labour is good for capitalism. National is good for Capitalists.
Willis is clearly unwell .Maybe those weight loss drugs do affect your mental health .
Willis is a gaslighter of the worst kind.
Fucks everything up…immediately drove the economy off a cliff…sprayed money around like there was no tomorrow…fire-hosing it in the direction of dead end street industries like real estate people and cancer stick companies…and now…can’t handle seeing what a proper finance person with real cred looks like…so…inturn… has to try and pre-empt everything Labour says and does to try and make herself look like she knows what she’s doing…when clearly she doesn’t!
The more she talks about Labour the bigger the hole she is digging… her defensive delusional diatribes are obvious….any fool can see through her and her tactics.
The stats don’t lie….she’s hopeless …she needs to go….goodbye!
It should be noted (with damning frequency) that a girl that has not achieved a single quarter of growth is not an expert on anything.
Like Bill English before her, Willis’s results speak for her – “Don’t touch this raving loon with a barge pole” they say.

What an obscene joke.
Both neoliberal enforcers have long since abandoned our economy to focus on free market control and outcomes on behalf of their donors , special interest groups , corporate overlords and wealthy sorted property owners.
Our economy is failing and not providing for so many of our people who work to contribute to provide shoulders and a back to carry so many parasites in order to enrich them and their corporate interests.
Our politics is a side show with the same participants every three years attempting to justify who is better at overseeing our very real decline.
If the majority of Kiwis believe quite rightly we are on the wrong track then supporting and voting for the same political representatives every three years will do nothing to change that.
A mere cigarette paper between blue and red, a pox on both their houses.
Have you heard of roger douglas? Have you heard about neoliberalism? Are you aware of other seriously anomolous facts and figures concerning our economy?
Roger dropped neoliberalism on us more than 30 years ago and since then we’ve had no politic within the parameters of the concept of the word ‘politic’. Now, lets dwell on the word ‘politic’? Within a country such as ours we have this thing called ‘ the vote’. The vote gives us an opportunity to engage in the steerage of our country and by extension you and you and me.
Neoliberalism, however, is a cunning means of side stepping that holey grail detail and instead enables manipulative narcissists to exploit us without fear of retribution or of having legal restrictions put in place. In other words ‘they’ can do what they like to us without fear of constraint or even investigation.
