Todays gratitude – Shout out Wednesday to the Truck Drivers who are moving NZ around while we stay locked down. Their tireless transport of goods through the country makes our agreed isolation possible. They work while we can’t. Our gratitude will be longer than 4 weeks.

I asked them about how nurses were being treated before the crisis and now…. and what they hoped for once we have put this pandemic behind us.
People are using their lockdown time to speculate about what the ‘new normal’ will look life after the COVIT-19 crisis is over. Nobody asked me but I’ll tell you anyway what the new normal will be and how it will not be different from the old normal, or ‘business as usual’, unless we stop it with a social revolution.
