The Republic of Waiheke is split between hippie artist types who are clinging to the commune vision of the Island and the Auckland uber rich who have priced locals out of the housing market, it is this latter group who are furious that the crap ferry service is barely able to cope with the Gold Card scam and over tourism that makes it almost impossible to move in peak hour traffic.

If Simon isn’t lying then he has caused a coup upset and reframed the welfare budget in a devious and malicious way. It would also be a serious blow to the credibility of Winston.

If Winston isn’t lying Simon Bridges will be the hapless fop who has once again over egged and zigged when he should have zagged. If the Euthanasia legislation passes before the 2020 election, Bridges leadership would surely be the first candidate.  

Allowing staff to anonymously complain without any need to prove anything said and extrapolating rape from that is one thing. Attacking the resulting trial by media for being a trial by media however is a conversation Jacinda should perhaps be having with the Speaker. 

Almost $5million to investigate a solution suggests we aren’t asking the right questions.

Everyone using social media has had that moment their words have been misconstrued or misinterpreted, it’s a familiar experience and the idea of allowing those who generate most of the pile ons to be judge, jury and executioner of free speech is enough to turn voters against the left.

Domestic greed, exploitative free trade agreements and naked racism. That’s a great recipe for the poisoned water cocktail we are being forced to drink.  

The irony of a bullying report that has ended up bullying should be lost on no one. 

If this can happen to a former Police Officer, what hope do the rest of us have, that we will be not be subjected to unlawful police actions if we ever do something that the Establishment does not approve?
