  1. No one has explained what is the benefit to NZ from an FTA with India?

The benefit to India is the over-immigration means India can extract $billions in remittances back to India from all the migrants it sends here? How does that enrich Kiwis?

Why are 4 out of 10 migrants from India? Do Indians have skills other nations don’t have or something?

If you want an actual multicultural society you have 1 migrant from Naru, 1 from India, 1 from Belgium, 1 from Canada, 1 from Sierra Leone, 1 from Holland, 1 from Scotland, 1 from Chile, 1 from Singapore, 1 from Russia, 1 from Singapore, 1 from Samoa – thats a melting pot. You dont have 40% from India and 30% from China. India is just 1 out of 195 countries. Who asked kiwis if its a good idea to take most of the immigrants from just 2 countries?

Immigrants from India buy their jobs here. Boss Indian immigrants sell the jobs and rip off the next wave of Indian migrants. It always seems to be Indian bosses in liquor stores, cleaning companies, indian restaurants, petrol stations that are in court for not giving staff a kiwi Fair Go. I could be wrong but it looks like Indian bosses have a policy of not employing maori and pakeha.

All the fake language schools that arranged for student visas to turn into fake job, work visas and then later with a bit of “Chef” at McDonalds work secured bring over parents and grandparents for state supplied health care.

Then there are all the jugaad real estate agent scams!

Why are all the dairies now being run by Indians? Did Indians undercut all the 50 year old pakeha women who used to run the dairies? How come no Maori and Samoan and Pakeha run dairies now? Do Indians only sell dairies to other indians – is that a thing? It looks like its a thing? Is the same scenario playing out amongst moteliers in Queenstown, Rotorua and the rest of NZ?

Is the Indian culture really compatible with NZ culture? Is it a good thing or is it a bit too much?

  2. Watch your mouth Martyn.

These are the big brained Biz Bro’s Trevor and his ilk believe we should worship.

Those titans of industry who will apparently sign a contract without reading it and expect everyone else to do the same.

Hey Trev, wanna stick your oar in to defend these big brave captains of industry? They seem barely literate so you’ll fit right in.

  3. I am not necessarily against free trade agreements although like you have said we do not know enough about what this one contains. The apparent immigration disguised as education is particularly concerning although I doubt that the dairy sector will gain anything useful as well. I can see Indian dairy companies being able to exploit some loophole to profit selling NZ products into the Indian market however the main effect in NZ is likely to be increased pollution.

  4. Until Luxon ‘admits’ the full details of his failed India Free Trade deal, no one should help him sign this off. He is playing his usual deceitful game with the nondisclosure of key elements because it contains ‘onerous terms’ which show just how dishonest and corrupt he really is. He believes everyone else is of lesser intellect than he is so won’t see through his smoke and mirrors. He is a lying, deceitful apology for a man, not worthy of leading a political party and certainly no PM material. Way past time for him to be booted out!

    1. I’m sending Luxon an unsigned copy of the Art of the Deal. Such ideas, respected by millions, people are saying, will provide dear leaders with a valuable set of tools. We want the best deal anyone has ever seen and Luxy with this business bible is the man to deliver.
