The possibilities of a Labour/Green/TOP/TPM Government

If the latest polling is even half right, a Labour, Green, Te PΔti MΔori, TOP Governmentisnβt fantasy anymore β itβs suddenly within reach. And that changes the conversation from survival to possibility.
As a Left Wing mercenary, my heart will skip if we can get a Labour, Green, Te PΔti MΔori majority, and if TOP can be added with that mix, it would be all my Christmases come at once.
Adding in TOP (if they cross 5%) would allow Chippy to have wider options on policy than being held hostage by aΒ more uncompromisingΒ Te PΔti MΔori (whose internal frictions caused so much fear in the wider electorate thanks to the Kapa-Kingi).
Labour will hold the centre and wonβt spook the horses. I donβt look to Chippy for the socialist utopia, I look to him to be a decent human being who wouldnβt have borrowed for tax cuts we couldnβt afford and Β wouldnβt have handed hundreds of millions in corporate welfare.
If the Greens tag team with Te PΔti MΔori in the negotiating process to present a united front in negotiations, that is where we will see the real progressive policy and the heavy lifting will have to be done by the Greens (who easily have some of the best policy) and Te PΔti MΔori who have some of the most socialist tax policy.
TOP could bring disruptive ideas to the mix.
So what could a four-party progressive government actually do?
A Labour, Green, Te PΔti MΔori, TOP Government could produce a legislative agenda on par with the Savage Government, a rebuilding of our social egalitarianism and a focus on all the people, not just the interests of rich donors.
If you are not excited by the possibilities a Labour, Green, Te PΔti MΔori, TOP Government could actually produce if we win in November, you ainβt paying attention.
Because this is the moment, right?
For years the argument has been about what we canβt do β what markets wonβt allow, what voters wonβt accept, what coalition partners wonβt tolerate.
But if these numbers hold, that excuse disappears.
And then we find out who actually has the courage to use power when they finally get it.

How about Labour/TOP? Cut out TPM and the Greens, and get us actually back on track.
TOP are the adults in the room and if polling is at 6% now, why canβt it get 10% on election day? If that happens, no need for the train wreck that is TPM
The biggest issue is that TOP are taking votes from Labour, or appear to be? If that is the case National will be the biggest party and TOP will negotiate with them first. Ol’ Baldy McDealmaker will jump at the chance to do something without Winston and concede whatever it takes to remain in power ….. he has form after all.
Labour already told us what they’d do if they got unbridled power. Nothing, in case they scare the people who will never vote for them anyway.
They had a once in a generation chance to reset the playing field and they squandered it.
and what have this lot done fuck all is the answer .Back on track ,alright ,race to the bottom is getting faster every day .They will be coming for what ever you have very soon as the rich pricks are finding out the economy is not growing so there is not much left to take off the bottom feeders ,who are the sole growth area in the nz economy .
