87 more people killed and 409 wounded
Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 87 people killed and 409 wounded. Civil Defence crews retrieved fourmore bodies from underneath bomb-damaged property, bringing the total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, to at least 64,455. The total wounded is now at least 162,776. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 91 and, that of those injured, is more than 231. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.

The Zionist UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI) are lobbying the Bar Standards Board to invoke the UK’s anti-terrorism Act against lawyers who defend international law, in order to punish them for such work as their legal analysis of the IDF. Two organisations, European Legal Support Center (ELSC) and Public Interest Law Centre (PILC), are calling for an investigation into whether UKLFI is operating as an unregulated law firm. They are urging the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to bring it under regulatory oversight.

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing complete closure of the West Bank, preventing residents and other permit–holders from entering or leaving. The Israeli military also imposes severe and highly variable travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack: Bethlehem – evening, Israeli troops, firing live ammunition, stormed and patrolled the town of Beit Fajjar.
Israeli Army attacks – 5 wounded – home invasions – arson: Hebron – 00:30, armed Israeli Occupation settlers stormed the Khallet al-Eis area, between the Sa’ir and al-Shuyukh, opening fire while invading homes, wounding five residents and setting fire to one home as well as crops on agricultural land. The five people wounded are: Reda Ahmed Abd Rabbo Al-Mashni, Nour Al-Din Zayed Al-Mashni, Ahmed Reda Halayqa, Mohammed Moaz Aramin and Ahmed Munir Halayqa.
