Since dawn, Israeli air strikes, missile launches and gunfire on homes, as well as medical and other facilities, have resulted in 103 dead and 219 wounded. The total number now killed in Gaza, since 7 October 2023, has risen to at least 56,331 and the total wounded to at least 132,632. The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza is at least 89 and, that of those injured, is more than 210. A UN report states that, as of 14 January 2025, around 70% of those killed in Gaza were women and children.
Nuclear-armed Zionism and its allies are the real danger
Since 1970, Iran has been a signatory to the IAEA Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) while Israel, which remains the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons, furtively never officially admits to its possession of a nuclear arsenal and chooses to remain a non-signatory to the NPT. The US, having accused Iran of creating nuclear warheads, elected to bomb the country after Israel had already started its own air strikes and killing of targeted individuals there. Yet the US continues, without reserve, to arm and finance the nuclear-armed Zionist regime’s insane, ethnic-cleansing inhumanities.
Food death-traps in Gaza
If any regime on Earth is a danger to world peace and security, it is most certainly nuclear-armed Zionist Israel. The evil of Zionism is flourishing in Palestine, especially in Gaza where it imposes extreme hatefulness and inhumanity. Even the Nazis never thought of starving people so that they could shoot them when they came to collect supposedly charitably provided food. UN agencies have condemned the US and Israel-backed food distribution system, GHF, with what one official called “an abomination” and “a death trap”. While the GHF, which uses armed private security contractors, pretends to be a private organisation, it has what the UN describes as an “opaque funding . . . backed by the US and Israel.”
In condemnation, a spokesman for the UN Human Rights Office, Thameen al-Kheetan, said in Geneva: “The weaponisation of food for civilians, in addition to restricting or preventing their access to life-sustaining services constitutes a war crime.”
Our representatives need to stop covering for Israel. They must not deny the truth. We must all join with the UN and the majority of humanity in condemning Zionism and its allies.

Israeli settler attack – 1 wounded: Ramallah – 13:30, Israeli Occupation settlers opened fire on people and their homes, on the outskirts of Turmusaya, wounding one resident: Ziad Jabara.
