Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

National will always put a woman in front especially with Min of Fin-ish,, because of their complete trust in women and ‘Mother knows best’ and all that BS.  Jenny Shipley, Ruth Richardson and now Nicola will go on with the plan that has no rhyme or reason.  What about this one from an ankle-biter’s mind – ‘Money is funny, Rhymes with honey Which often is runny, And ends in the dunny.   It’s not elegant, but about the level of National’s understanding.

  2. Are your discussion groups on utube? I regularly watch politics speech there. Good stuff in wrong space? Mostly less than 10 minutes, though I did the full 5 hours of the Finkelstein v. Morris debate straight through.

I don’t want to see the week to week minor stuff, let alone the daily crap, so often a waste of time.

Just joined a critical thinking site on Facebook. First post about being open to admitting your doubts, your lack of understanding, in order to find what is missing. The great strength of we commenters, the weevils around the bread produced by posters (who always have to sound as steely certain as piss on a piss-pot — till they turn, like a Trotter). I’m heading that way naturally.

    • Hi I discuss on TDB. I put interesting links I’ve come across to spread info. But like you I can’t be bothered too much with day to day stuff, it is repetitive and full of moans. Won’t someone do something right sort of thing. And I am trying to stay away from Facebook, it has hurt so many people by being topdown power; has reached a monopoly position and controls so much communication and business where it can destroy when it chooses. We lose our long-held people controlled systems at our peril.

The unpleasant truth is that since WW2 and all that happened there we have been unable to get our minds clear and understand our potential for evil, have bowed down to the magic of money, and ‘getting on’, and gaining things, and the amazing ability of scientific discoveries whether they are good or not. Most apply to war machinery.

I have only just found out that humans have so much unused brain power which should result in understanding our psychology. So much thinking is last centuries’ and we are indoctrinated in money-mad, chemical applications, tricky machinery things that we are fascinated by. That’s me – I’m thinking to a possible future when we have schooled and tamed our own minds to become the great people we all have potential for; living simply enjoying life at a high intellectual level, in relation to the people and things around us. But we may be too restless and demanding, too fixed in our ways. How is this for a bunch of twaddle!!
