Announce protest actions, general chit chat or give your opinion on issues we haven’t covered for the day.

The Editor doesn’t moderate this blog,  3 volunteers do, they are very lenient to provide you a free speech space but if it’s just deranged abuse or putting words in bloggers mouths to have a pointless argument, we don’t bother publishing.

All in all, TDB gives punters a very, very, very wide space to comment in but we won’t bother with out right lies or gleeful malice. We leave that to the Herald comment section.

EDITORS NOTE: – By the way, here’s a list of shit that will get your comment dumped. Sexist abuse, homophobic abuse, racist abuse, anti-muslim abuse, transphobic abuse, Chemtrails, 9/11 truthers, Qanon lunacy, climate deniers, anti-fluoride fanatics, anti-vaxxer lunatics, 5G conspiracy theories, the virus is a bioweapon, some weird bullshit about the UN taking over the world  and ANYONE that links to fucking infowar.

  1. Some landlords need to be forceably exited from the job, if that’s what it is. Then Luxon can bleat on at someone who deserves it.

    Trade me listing #4572570640

half your “house” is a covered over deck. Excellent ventilation.

  2. So tell me what the alternatives are, for the next ten years.

    1) Build our own political party around including as many people as are willing to put their identities aside long enough for the greater benefit of everyone. Might be 20 years before any good comes of it. yay.
    2) Abandon Labour and National, who have clearly just totally stalled somewhere in 2003. How they get away with justifying their existence is a calculation no one can fathom.
    3) Try to vote oursleves into a coalition of NZF, ACT, Greens. I know it sounds impossible, but imagine it. Could any of them work together in a seats division so close to a third each they have to be real just to survive? Do you reckon? Has greed and stupidity finally beaten all our hopes?
    4) Take on the financial responsibility of looking after our friends and families, neighbours, unemployed, disabled, sick and elderly, young and old, marginalised and refugees, the gays, the trans, the muzzies and the christians, and say GTFO to government intervention. Totally reclaim our communities. No go zones for cops, pollies, or any other external body asserting authority. We police our own. We do business with corporates who supply food, ultilities and infrustructure, but nothing more than simple transactions. They want small government, how about NO GOVERNMENT.

Because outside of that, what is left? We just get rolled by clueless greedy people who aren’t even really alive.

  3. Encouraging nature – Scotland – they point out that plantation pines planted close together are actually a green desert preventing undergrowth and weak at the tops so that birds etc don’t or can’t have homes in the upper storey. Think us – green rush for trees – we need to go forward slowly and firmly not rush.

And see how the asymmetrical economy has led to new kings richer than many others. See bottom. And think about holding and conserving the land we have. How, think!

  5. Opening up to ravenous world business has left us with our pants down I reckon.. Look at this.
    https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/business/509578/fonterra-to-merge-new-zealand-and-australian-businesses
We are very much into China with our milk exports and Australia is very much not into China – so how can we establish business policies that strike the balance between diplomacy, practicality and favourable agreements for this country – where Fonterra is supposed to be sited???¿?

And Fonterra is constantly telling us it is the basis of a huge part of our economy. Birds desperate for a nesting place wouldn’t choose the skulls of these unt-reasonable world businessmen if we hanged them out to dry instead of letting them do that to us.
