Government gives Whānau Ora $50 million funding to boost vaccination rates
The Government has announced $50 million to help Whānau Ora and partners boost vaccination rates, and has launched a new app for personal health records.
Let’s be clear, this is pure political performance art.
After announcing 8000 tobacco deaths for tax cuts (many Māori), after destroying the Māori Health Authority (despite every Māori health expert telling them not to), after demanding public servants lose extra money for knowing Māori (despite National MPs taking taxpayer funded te reo classes) and after demanding every Government department use English words (despite many National MPs not knowing the actual name of the NZTA) – after all that we get $50m for Māori vaccination rates funded for two years.
So this is nothing more than a desperate attempt by the Government to roll back the stain of racism that has tainted their rule in less than a month, and here’s why this desperate attempt is so hypocritical.
1: Nicola Willis was just screaming Labour had left ‘fiscal cliffs’, and yet here she is creating a new ‘fiscal cliff’.
2: Wasn’t the whole purpose of ripping everything that was Māori up because this Government would not resource based on race? Well what the fuck is $50million for Māori vaccination rates but a race based policy???
National are so desperate as the full extremism of their toxic political threesome becomes more and more far right that they are jumping backwards over their own lies and justifications in an attempt to hold the centre.
This is a racist Government trying to pretend to not be so racist because they’ve been spooked by the backlash coming their way.
Barely one month old and the Right are already frightened.

They have much to fear for implementing spite and conspiracy malice as social policy.

I love the way Reti says this will “help set up Tamariki for a healthy future”. Won’t all the ZB silver hair set be wondering who the hell he is referring to? Apparently if it’s not a place name or a geographical location they can’t handle the use of Māori words, and they can’t “navigate their government” according to Luxon. The problem I have is when pakeha use other ethnicities like the (Indian) community which is a demographic time bomb to further undermined Maori. The Indian community have fuck all to do with Maori communities apart from selling us unhealthy products, and employing others for exploitable cheap labour. They vote against Maori interest . There are 1.4 billion indians on planet earth one of the largest populations and they aren’t here to play second fiddle to some pro-treaty pukanga jumping up and down ‘maaaaores’ that they would claim has fuck all to do with them or their culture ironically suffering colonial oppression by the same cunts.
