Ceasefire violations – Palestinian missile attacks:
Hundreds of missiles were again fired towards, and across, the Green Line into Israel.
Ceasefire violations – air strikes: From 08:00 on 22 October until 08:00 on 23 October, Israeli war planes continued to strike homes, including apartment tower-blocks, service facilities and many other targets over the whole of the Gaza Strip enclave. Another 436 deaths have raised the number of fatalities to 5087. A further 1028 people have been wounded, now bringing that total to more than 15,273.
Restrictions of movement: Since midnight, 7 October, Israeli Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on access movement inthe West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Israeli military attacks: From 08:00 on 22 October until 08:00 on 23 October, the Israeli Occupation‘s military positions on the Green Line have targeted farmland and homes, as well as many other public areas all across the Gaza Strip. Israeli gunboats have been firing missiles at sites along Gaza’s shore, also opening fire on, and pursuing, Palestinian fishing boats.
Israeli Army attacks on homes – 2 killed – 7 wounded – 16 taken prisoner: Ramallah – 04:00, Israeli Occupation forces stormed into theal-Jalazoun refugee camp, attacking homes and killing two residents: Mahmoud Saif Nakhleh and Mohammed Nidal Alian. Seven other people were wounded and 16 taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – agricultural sabotage: Jenin – Occupation forces, at the Annexation Wall near the village of Zububa, opened fire towards olive harvesters.
Israeli Army attacks on homes – 2 killed – 3 wounded – 2 taken prisoner: Nablus – 18:55-20:20, Israeli forces stormed into the village of Zawata and invaded homes, killing two residents: Jihad Mazen Subhi Saleh and Mohammed Qasim Abu Zar (aged 17). Three other people, Jamil Qasim Abu Zar, Mustafa Youssef Saad and Moaz Adnan Aklak, were wounded. Two more residents were taken prisoner.
Israeli Army attack – agricultural sabotage: Salfit – Occupation forces, at a military watchtower, west of Salfit, opened fire on olive harvesters and forced them off the land.
Israeli Army attack – 1 protester killed: Hebron – 15:15, the Israeli Army opened fire towards protesters, near the entrance to the al-Arroub refugee camp, killing one of them: Qatada Salama Ghunaimat.
Home invasions – 12 taken prisoner: Ramallah – 03:30, Israeli Occupation forces, firing rubber-coated bullets and stun grenades, raidedBeit Rima and invaded homes, taking prisoner twelve residents.
