Ceasefire violations – Palestinian missile attacks:
Hundreds of missiles were again fired towards, and across, the Green Line into Israel.
Ceasefire violations – air strikes: From 08:00 on 18 October until 08:00 on 19 October, Israeli war planes continued to strike homes, including apartment tower-blocks, service facilities and many other targets over the whole of the Gaza Strip enclave. Another 307 deaths have raised the number of fatalities to 3785, including 1524 children. Another 493 people have been wounded, now bringing that total to 12,493, including 3983 children.
Restrictions of movement: Since midnight, 7 October, Israeli Occupation forces have imposed a complete closure on access movement in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
Israeli military attacks: From 08:00 on 18 October 18 until 08:00 on 19 October, the Israeli Occupation‘s military positions on the Green Line have targeted farmland and homes as well as many other public areas all across the Gaza Strip. Israeli gunboats have been firing missiles at sites along Gaza’s shore, also opening fire on, and pursuing, Palestinian fishing boats.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 08:30, Israeli Occupation forces opened fire on protesters in the village of al-Issawiya, wounding one person: Malik Mahmoud Mustafa.
Israeli Army attack – youngster wounded – agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 10:10, armed Israeli Occupation settlers invaded Kobar farmland and opened fire on olive harvesters, wounding a 17-year-old youth: Suhaib Nidal Sabah.
Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Jerusalem – 16:00, Israeli forces, in the village of Beit Ijza, opened fire on protesters, wounding one person: Mohammed Imran Rayan.
Israeli settler attack and agricultural sabotage: Ramallah – 09:50, Israeli Occupation settlers invaded Jibia village farmland and opened fire towards olive harvesters, to drive them off the land.
Israeli Army attacks – refugee camp: Jerusalem – evening, the Israeli Army, storming Abu Dis, the al-Tur neighbourhood and Shuafat refugee camp, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards protesters.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Tulkarem – 23:25, Israeli settlers opened fire on motor vehicles, near the eastern entrance to Shufa village, wounding one person: Mohammed Jamil Hassan Hantouli.
Israeli Army attack – youngster killed: Tulkarem – 03:35, the Israeli military stormed into the Nur Shams refugee camp and raided homes, killing a 16-year-old youth, Taha Ibrahim Muhammad Mahameed. Israeli forces also bulldozed the main road outside the refugee camp.
Israeli Army attacks – 4 wounded – 10 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – 03:35, the Israeli military stormed into Tulkarem, the Tulkarem refugee camp Anabta, Kafr al-Labad as well as the villages of Far’un and Khirbet Jbara and raided homes, wounding four people: Abd al-Rahman Zaid Saeed Odeh, Muhammad Yasser Raja Shehadeh, Ibrahim Mahamid and Saif al-Din Amjad Damiri. Ten people were taken prisoner: Izz al-Din Muhammad Hafez Abu Dayh, Ahmed Mustafa Mahmoud Fahmawi, Ishaq Ibrahim Abd al-Rahim Melhem, Baraa Fathi Qaraawi, Abd al-Rahman Fathi Qaraawi, Farouk Youssef Mahmoud. Hamidi, Samer Jaber Zandig and his sons Ali, Mahmoud and Imad.
Israeli Army attack – 1 killed – 9 wounded: Qalqiliya – 18:00, Israeli soldiers, firing live ammunition towards protesters, near the entrance to Jama’in, killed one person, Ibrahim Nazih Mahmoud Al-Hajj Ali, and wounded nine other people.

Israel and its allies relentlessly assert that the Zionist regime has a right to “defend itself”. But they never dare acknowledge the Palestinian people’s UN-affirmed right of self-defence in opposing brutal foreign military occupation and population-control. In 1974, Resolution 3314 of the The General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA) prohibited states from “any military occupation, however temporary”.
Condemning Israeli violence and expansionist land-grabs
On 3 December 1982, UNGA Resolution 37/43 reaffirmed “the legitimacy of the struggle of peoples for independence, territorial integrity, national unity and liberation from colonial and foreign domination and foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle” stating in Section 21 that the “UN Strongly condemns the expansionist activities of Israel in the Middle East and the continual bombing of Palestinian civilians, which constitute a serious obstacle to the realisation of the self-determination and independence of the Palestinian people.”
