Ask the National bloke who determines if a house is worth 2mil? Even if my house is assumed to be about 1.5 if I can get someone to pay over 2 mil then lots of houses can be sold to foreign buyers….who no doubt can borrow against it and offset the interest payments as they sit offshore and charge huge rent. I can see house prices skyrocketing in so many areas
