There are rare moments of hope in the world.
Cornel West becoming President of the United States would be one of those rare moments of true grace and hope on a burning planet.
Cornel’s philosophy and his articulation of a higher vision almost makes me believe in God.
If a non-believer like me can find faith, the world just became a little less bleak (or slightly more gullible – pick your poison).
West has announced he is running a third party candidacy and while that is admirable, surely a talent as bright as his deserves a real chance of power,
A Sanders/West Democratic Ticket would be unstoppable in terms of harnessing a truly transformative moment in American politics.
Talking of which, the latest indictment of Trump over his insane handling of top secret documents is a joy to behold because Trumpers who work so hard to pretend Donald is some idiot savant can’t ignore the self inflicted madness of Trump at his dumbest.
If he had simply done as he had said he would do, he wouldn’t be in this situation, yet his total refusal to do the basics means he’s actual in legal trouble here and all because he’s an idiot.

Any of RFK, Marianne Williams or Cornel West would be better than Biden and far better than Trump.
Cornel West will probably receive the same treatment as Jill Stein. RFK and Williams will likely be ignored by legacy media (like Andrew Yang) or smeared (like Tulsi Gabbard). Expect the DNC to play every dirty trick in the book to ensure Biden or another establishment candidate gets the nomination regardless of what the party’s base want (as they did to Bernie). It will be a major concession if they are even allowed to debate Biden.
