Leslie Bravery is a Londoner with vivid World War Two memories of the Nazi blitz on his home town. In 1947/1948 His father explained to him what was happening to the Palestinians thus: “Any ideology or political movement that creates refugees in the process of realising its ambitions must be inhuman and should be opposed and condemned as unacceptable.” What followed confirmed this assessment of the Zionist entity a hundredfold. Now a retired flamenco guitarist, with a lifelong interest in the tragedy of what happened to the Palestinian people, he tries to publicise their plight. Because the daily injustices they suffer barely get a mention in the mainstream news media, Leslie edits/compiles a daily newsletter, In Occupied Palestine, for the Palestine Human Rights Campaign. These days, to preserve his sanity, he enjoys taking part in a drama group whenever possible!

  1. I think that we should feel sorry for Gaby. He/she has had a terrible loss that has scarred and shrivelled some of her neurons. The fact that morst Jewish people have not suffered a breakdown is an indication of the strength of their beliefs. The rest of us can not hear about it without fear and revulsion especially knowing how malleable the mind is.

When we make some protest against it, even small, of any kind, can we advise on this column please. And that would be encouraging, just that small response. I recently talked to a local Jewish woman and asked her her feelings. Just to be able to do this is a start to consciousness raising.

  2. I just comment on you as you appear gaby. At least I keep you alive gaby. It’s seems that you are a disabled person mentally. It is sickening stuff to be faced with isn’t it. I’m amazed that you can read it and not be struck speechless or wordless.
