  1. Why are you going to waste valuable time discussing the Horizon poll result? Best just ignore it.

  2. Watching for the first time
Cringeworthy squawk box, embarrassing for the left class movement

    • Moan about the woke, and then hand them a bucket of cartridges.
Why not just broadcast from a working class pub and invite the people to speak instead of privileged fools

      • The left is about liberty, not being a happy peasant. working dudes down the pub would be an exercise in sophistry. at least these privileged peasants can afford to take the piss out of themselves. a bit like the butler telling a joke to the gardener and you, the stablehand taking offense. lol. your pov is all wrong.

  3. Well Scott don’t bother listening again. Easy as.

Martyn does an amazing job with this blog and the working group. I don’t always agree with him (e.g Posie Parker is not a anger grifter in my opinion) but I do appreciate his commentary and the people he brings to the table to discuss things. And I like his sense of humour

  4. Great show! Hooton had Bomber in stitches when Damian calls Chippie incompetent.
Hooton: “That is NOT the story that I see on TVNZ! Jessica reports that he is really good and he is fun and he eats sausage rolls.”

  5. A bit much chatting over each other, fun but not the best listen – Mr Garner even pulled the others up.
    Point of order:
The crime wave began up ticking in 2018 and gun crime upticking after Jacindas gun laws so it’s not all due to covid.

  6. Gosh the economic illiteracy expressed by all parties (either directly or by omission) on the inflationary impact of the budget is embarassing:

    1) If government spends more than it receives in any given year it is inflationary.
    2) this budget was larger than signalled, it is therefore more inflationary than signalled.
    3) Immediately the market pricing signalled a larger chance of a 50 bps OCR hike. Pricing now suggests 50:50, 25bps:50bps.

Like there is no debate here. It is clearly, clearly inflationary. Cringe.

    • sometimes I wonder if anyone has a clue in this world and is just happy to blunder into oblivion. the economy is a man made sophistry based on abundant cheap energy. wake me up when everyone is starving.
