The Race Relations Commissioner Meng Foon donated thousands of dollars to the Labour MP Kiri Allan in the run up to the 2020 General Election, 1News has revealed.

Calm. The. Fuck. Down.

Meng Foon donated $1500 to Kiri Allan. Good!

Kiri Allan is fucking amazing, everyone should try and donate $1500 to her.

Foon is a private citizen who can donate to whom he likes. The donation is declared as is his $1000 donation to the National Party!

That David Seymour is making a song and dance out of this and demanding Foon’s resignation is bullshit. Seymour wants to amputate the Human Rights Commission so is looking to sack him regardless!

Any suggestion that his donation impacted Kiri’s decision making is a fucking outrage and smear against her character.

She’s not Stuart Nash! We love The Nashy!

Meng hasn’t done anything wrong, and neither has Kiri.

Barbara Kuriger on the other hand, we have to back the truck up for.

If you were screaming abuse of influence over Meng and Kiri, wait until you hear about reselected candidate Barbara Kuriger and her psychotic Karen level abuse of MPI over her sons prosecution for animal cruelty.

It is something to behold. The way she has waged a campaign of relentless harassment against MPI over her son’s prosecution on their companies farm suggests a level of self interest that is well beyond a $1500 donation from Meng Foon!

Look, I think this is all meaningless bullshit.

I don’t care Meng donated $1500 to Kiri.

I don’t care that Barbara had a go at an agency prosecuting her son.

I don’t care that a boiled ham like Stephen Jack liked a gross joke or dumb poem.

I don’t care a Polynesian Poet wrote about killing Cracker.

(I kinda care what dumb shit Stuart Nash has said to the forestry industry).

I do care 100% however about kids in poverty, radical environmental adaptation, infrastructure upgrades, better public health, better public education, better public institutions and taxing the fucking banks!

For the love of Christ, we are months away from a general election and we are still not debating the shit that needs to be focused upon!

If we are talking donations, it is the millions the billionaire class and 1% are donating to the right!

Increasingly having independent opinion in a mainstream media environment which mostly echo one another has become more important than ever, so if you value having an independent voice – please donate here.

      • And i do not care about that at all. I care about the fact that donations were given and not declared. That is wrong by l and by N.
but go ahead and change the subject.

        • The $9500 donation is indeed interesting.
The name of the current Minister of Police comes to mind. That triggers a memory of her predecessor…….. shit this just goes on and on….

    • Seemore has some serious issues which need addressing, maybe someone should be analysing where his donations are coming from and how that is influencing his and ACT policies.

    • Excellent

I do care 100% however about kids in poverty, radical environmental adaptation, infrastructure upgrades, better public health, better public education, better public institutions and taxing the fucking banks!

    • @ R.B. Do you decide to go fuck yourself or is it a suggestion I can make?
Excellent Post @ MB. I don’t know, or have ever met Kiri Allan but I do know people who know her and have met her and she comes with their recommendations and high praise.
Labour? Please, please, please..? Please renounce neo-liberalism. That, and dump fucking Chippy. I’ve gone way off that little shit for snuggling up to the American-Australian Money Machine. The Australian people are awesome. I love Aussies but the Ameristralians can fuck off, they’re our exports competition and now I know they exert their influence over our politics also.
The rude climate is becoming hard to ignore even for the most fervent deniers ( 45c in Thailand. )

So that means Australia will fry with the possible exception of Tasmania.
What’s more, since Australia is confidently associated with the greedy lunacy that is the U$A you can bet your hairy arse the nouveau riche yanksters will want to cosy up to Nu Zillind too. Y’know? Because to avoid the tornadoes an’ snow an’ floods an’ poverty and the collapse of major cities an’ that.

  1. “I don’t care a Polynesian Poet wrote about killing Cracker.”

Do you mind what Tarrant wrote? Should that be free to read?

  2. “I do care 100% however about kids in poverty, radical environmental adaptation, infrastructure upgrades, better public health, better public education, better public institutions and taxing the fucking banks!”

    Unfortunately Labour don’t.

  3. Reactionary Bratwurst – Good question…other questions are:
    1. why does the Race Relations Commissioner refuse to do anything against the Maori Party website, despite numerous complaints
    2. why does the Race Relations Commissioner refuse to do anything against the Labour Party Maori Vaxx roll out scheme, despite numerous complaints from the Maori community
    3. why did the Race Relations Commissioner do bugger all against that hate filled poet, despite record level of complaints to the Commission

  4. As a representative of a government which theoretically represents all New Zealanders, Foon should not be seen as politically partisan, which he is when he chooses to donate to one particular party.

    • $10,000 does not equal $1,000.

Let’s be perfectly honest for a person in his position that was a rather stupid thing to do.
Only matched by his outrage about racist comments that he deems undesirable.

  5. “I do care 100% however about kids in poverty, radical environmental adaptation, infrastructure upgrades, better public health, better public education, better public institutions and taxing the fucking banks!”

    Unfortunately Labour don’t.

  6. Strange that Seymour has rounded on two of the sweetest characters in NZ when there are so many more goblins to choose from…

  7. “Any suggestion that his donation impacted Kiri’s decision making is a fucking outrage and smear against her character.”

Yeah, I mean it’s not like Kiri would criticize RNZ for not giving her girlfriend the top job, or infer that they were racists.

Tell me Martyn, if the Minister of Broadcasting were a “cracker” (to use one of your favourite terms), and had similarly berated RNZ for not giving his girlfriend the top job, would he still be Minister of Broadcasting?

    • Here we go again. Just like the bleating about that guy from Southland who played the victim. He resigned because his party told him to sod off. You make out like there is a different standard when the reality is Wills essentially said yesterday she was glad to be rid of him.

If anything the whole governance area for all parties needs to be looked at. Nash ( the likes of Seymour were very quick to play down) Chris Faafoi, and please don’t tell me John Key didn’t know where he was heading when resigned ( after setting the banks up beautifully). This whole country seems to be about ‘Maaates’, and stupid statements about number eight wire.

  8. This is a non issue, however as someone from a mixed race family, I’m sick of hearing about Foon, he is incredibly condescending and selective in his outrage and the job of race relations commissioner should be about promoting a harmonious society and investigating and condemning and investigating all forms of racism, but says nothing whenever left wing activists and politicians in tv and social media en masse use racist insults to belittle peoples opinions rather than debating them I’d expect the race commissioner to actually condemn racism by people with platforms.

I’m ok with Seymour removing the position.

    • Agree about Foon. I feel that I am being racist, but I get him mixed up with that Mayor or dignitary from Dunedin I think who got a trip to China which was very hospitable and showed him around and sold him a thing or two. How can we keep up with the overlapping factors that enter out election year arena and come out pure in whatever colour or type we choose, or has been chosen for us at birth??

  9. ” Foon is a private citizen who can donate to whom he likes. The donation is declared as is his $1000 donation to the National Party! ”

” That David Seymour is making a song and dance out of this and demanding Foon’s resignation is bullshit. Seymour wants to amputate the Human Rights Commission so is looking to sack him regardless! ”

Once again Seymour reeks of hypocrisy and deliberately forgets recent history like Warner’s and Sky City that were orchestrated by the government he supported but chose to look the other way because it was convenient at the time.

I lay money down that had Foon donated to the ” association of c***s and corporate taxpayers he would have pocketed the money and acknowledged Foons generosity.

  10. So in summary: when you’re the highest officer of law in this country, the minister of justice, then you don’t have to be squeaky clean. Nice.

  11. Its quite funny to see the insults/slurs appearing to be hurled at people that generally are of the ‘both sides do it, and both sides should get fired for it” take.
But those that are scared that N will win, should start holding those at Labour to account. The idiocy of someone like Kiri to accept these donations from a person who is ‘appointed’ by the Justice Minister and who may or may not be be Justice Minister in the future shows to me a certain laziness in forecasting not only their own future but also the perception of the public.
Bill English was wrong when he double dipped and he should have lost his job for fraud. It was as simple as that then as it is now. Kiri Allen and those in Labour that advised them should have had the good sense to tell dear Mr. Foon that is improper for him to donate money and in kind – rent subsidy to the tune of almost half a year in rent – and then donated these funds to some good cause. But they did not. Why?
Because their own will not hold them to account? A case of ‘do as i say not as i do’? A case of ‘might makes right’? A case ‘ no one will know, and if they do, i can’t recall”? Honestly the country is so over that entitled shit.

Can we please start promoting people not because of diversity – in this case Maori, female, lesbian, queer – but because they are sensible, intelligent people that are in it for more then just their own advancements.
I have never commented on ‘co-governance’ as i really don’t believe it will make much of a difference for those of us who are working class or poor. But tribal rule in general will come with this type of laissez faire idiocy where an entitled person thinks they can get away with anything because they are of and protected by of the ruling tribal class.

Sad, dumb, idiotic, and all of that on a salary that clears 6 figures every year if they miss their kpi’s or not. So not fraud or deception by way of need, but simply because ‘why not” and ‘who will give a shit’. Well my dear, some people do care about that.

To me there is no difference between the double dipper and the rent subsidy taker, they are both trying to make money in ways that are considered unsavory and not permitted. L and N, two peas of the same pod.

And the country is off worse for it. But rejoice, OZ now offers citizenship to disgruntled NZ’lers of all races and creeds that leave for better salaries, better opportunities, and a bit more sunshine.
