  1. I think that there is assymetric warfare going on between Israel and Palestine. There is not the chance of any settlement from meetings between these countries as there is no trust, and there have been too many infractions. It is time to resettle the Palestinians away from the Israelis whose leaders tell their people that they are in the right and can impose their power on the Israeli citizens and on the Palestinians. And objectively one could say they do have a case for what they are doing; but objectivity is dangerous to adopt when considering how people should be treated. Yhe world powers that like to give the impression they are moral cannot allow this to go on for long and must act after so many decades while they can still strike a pose of decent humanity responding to outrages!

Remember the Jewish massacres and feel outraged, and then help the Israelis not to besmirch themselves with their own retaliations as they claw back land and, hopefully, security.

    This should be remembered:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Ghetto
The Warsaw Ghetto (German: Warschauer Ghetto, officially Jüdischer Wohnbezirk in Warschau, “Jewish Residential District in Warsaw”; Polish: getto warszawskie) was the largest of the Nazi ghettos during World War II and the Holocaust. It was established in November 1940 by the German authorities within the new General Government territory of occupied Poland. At its height, as many as 460,000 Jews were imprisoned there,[5] in an area of 3.4 km2 (1.3 sq mi), with an average of 9.2 persons per room,[6][7] barely subsisting on meager food rations.[7] From the Warsaw Ghetto, Jews were deported to Nazi concentration camps and mass-killing centers. In the summer of 1942, at least 254,000 ghetto residents were sent to the Treblinka extermination camp during Großaktion Warschau under the guise of “resettlement in the East” over the course of the summer.[7] The ghetto was demolished by the Germans in May 1943 after the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising had temporarily halted the deportations. The total death toll among the prisoners of the ghetto is estimated to be at least 300,000 killed by bullet or gas,[8] combined with 92,000 victims of starvation and related diseases, the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, and the casualties of the final destruction of the ghetto.

    Palestine situation – population:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_the_State_of_Palestine
The demographic statistics of The World Factbook and the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics estimated (2017) that the collective population in the Palestinian territories amounted to 4,543,126 people in 2017. Thereof, 2,155,743 Arabs live in the West Bank, 1,795,183 Arabs live in the Gaza Strip, and 391,000 Jews live in the West Bank.[8] Approximately 214,600 Jews live in East Jerusalem.[9] East Jerusalem, once administered by Jordan, came under Israeli occupation after the 1967 Six-Day War.[10] In the Palestinian territories, c. 86% of the population is Arab (predominantly Sunni), c. 13% is Jewish, other <1% (cf. Israel: Jewish 74%, Arab 21%, other 5%)
