Covid is far worse than we are pretending it is

I just don’t believe that we have understood or comprehended how damaging Covid is.

Every single time to get reinfected, you face the risk of it being Long covid and every time you catch it, you get sicker and weaker…

Repeat COVID is riskier than first infection, study finds

The risk of death, hospitalization and serious health issues from COVID-19 jumps significantly with reinfection compared with a first bout with the virus, regardless of vaccination status, a study published on Thursday suggests.

“Reinfection with COVID-19 increases the risk of both acute outcomes and long COVID,” said Dr. Ziyad Al-Aly of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. “This was evident in unvaccinated, vaccinated and boosted people.”

…Covid is not the fucking flu!

It is a novel virus that is constantly mutating.

Put aside the fact we refused to spend the $50Billion to vaccinate the entire planet which has created a pool of billions for a far more dangerous variant to emerge, the truth is that ever single time you catch Covid, you get sicker and weaker!

That’s right – every single time you catch Covid not only do you risk long Covid each time, but the virus makes you sicker and weaker!

That’s not the fucking flu! It’s a completely different kind of beast!

AIDs killed 40 million over 40 years, Covid has killed 18 million in 3 years.

The realisation that Covid poses a far greater risk to us is starting sink in…

The Gig is Up, and It Feels Weird

The mainstream news is spending a lot of time on Germany’s recent decision to scrap mask mandates on long train rides. There’s another story they probably won’t cover just yet, but it’s far more important. As German health minister Karl Lauterbach recently said during an interview with the Rheinische Post, multiple infections with Covid are causing “an immune deficiency that can no longer be cured.” He refers to studies, most of which I’ve gathered here.

There’s overwhelming evidence now that Covid infects and hijacks your immune cells. Researchers are still learning the details, but the takeaway is clear. Even just a couple of bouts with Covid can hamper your immune system for a long time, maybe permanently. It leaves you vulnerable to all other kinds of viral and bacterial infections. It leaves you open to fungal infections too, and those are especially dangerous. So the experts who tried to warn everyone were right the whole time, and the message is leaking out.

It’s a big deal.

The world is only just beginning to see the truth, as we trudge through a winter that makes the last two look almost pleasant.

This recent news from Germany slams the last nail in immunity debt’s coffin. It was a short-term fiction, meant to explain away one bad winter. It can’t explain what we’re seeing with children dying from strep throat and global shortages of basic medicine. Our politicians and their corporate media are out of lies. They were having to recycle old ones. They hauled out their Covid minimizers again to try and convince us we’re “overcounting” Covid hospitalizations and deaths.

…we do not comprehend how much danger Covid still represents to us because we haven’t had a novel virus enter our species like this since the influenza pandemic of the early 1900s. After every major pandemic in human history there is social unrest…

“So when our Sickness, and our Poverty Had greater wants than we could well supply; Strict Orders did but more enrage our grief, And hinder in accomplishing relief.”

That’s how the British poet George Wither explained a spreading rebellion against social-distancing rules. Seeing quarantines and lockdowns as unfair and tyrannical punishments, people were taking to the streets. The year was 1625, the place was London, the disease was plague.

…The peasant revolt in the 1300s, the civil unrest in the 1600s and the civil disobedience in the 1900s. The strict measures required to snuff out pandemics always makes the lives of the poorest unliveable, we haven’t seen the full economic and social whiplash of Covid yet, especially amongst small business owners and those who were already vulnerable.

The social friction Covid has generated is perfectly normal for a pandemic and shouldn’t surprise us.

You might like to pretend that Covid is over dear Kiwis, but it isn’t.

  1. What a good thing that the Western regimes chose to let new COVID variants breed unchecked by avoiding real lockdowns and doing their best to prevent vaccine supply to the developing world.

    • Yes, “Mark”. Almost as good as the PRC releasing the virus in the first place, almost, but not quite. Welding people into their homes, now that’s gold medal level.

  2. So shall we lockdown again, wear masks and dob in our neighbors when they let their other neighbor use their loo.

    Worked a treat last time.

And let’s be fair the same people running the doom angle with CovidCult are running the Climate Change narrative. Something has got to get humanity. Might as well be a bat shit virus…….

The problem with that argument is the majority of the population are experiencing something quite different.

  3. We all know it’s tyrant Cindy’s fault. It’s the vaccine that done it, not covid, covid is our friend. COVID supports the deterioration of your immune and vascular systems and if you order from us in the next ten minutes using the code ZBshysters we’ll include a set of our fantastic patchouli oil nose plugs which will repel anything. Absolutely Free!
Sorry Martyn, I couldn’t help myself, the serious implications of your article will unfortunately be ignored by the great unwashed.

  4. Those of the lower working class that i am part of, we are quite aware of that. However, we must continue going to work, pretend that everything is normal as otherwise we don’t eat, we don’t live in houses and we don’t have lifes. You won’t have nurses or doctors. No roads would be fixed. Nothing would get done. Yei the essential/expendable worker. Non of whom btw made New Zealander of the Year. Go figure!

So for those that are afraid of life, please stay at home. Get a sign in code for your door – just in case, have everything delivered to you, have RATS available if someone wanted to come and visit you could force a test on them, have a proper ventilation system installed where ever you live, wear a proper mask / with oxygen if ever you dare to venture out, find a full body condom to cover yourself and install a disinfection station in front of your house – just to be on the save side.

The rest of us we accept that life is deadly, and when the time comes the time comes. Until then we live.

    • Identify infections and get the anti-viral treatments asap. That will reduce the risk of long covid and undermining the immune system.

Sleep (melatonin and magnesium help with this) and vitamin D (more important for those older or of coloured skin and shift workers who don’t get the skin production) are important for the immune system and zinc is good for cell health (vascular risk etc).

  5. Every living human being on the planet is experiencing Climate Chaos and SARS2 pandemic. What evidence do you have Frank that you personally are experiencing something quite different?

  6. Let’s see that data when they split the unvaccinated from the vaccinated, and dont combine them.
If you did that, then maybe you could make the claim you’re making. But otherwise it is utterly inconclusive as it stands.
    Science versus ‘political science’.

  7. Don’t worry, if we all pretend the pandemic is over and we all stop believing in Covid-19, it will just vanish in a puff of logic, won’t it?

Wear a mask if you’re indoors with groups of random people. It’s not over, until it’s over.

  8. Virus gonna virus – what do you suggest we do? Ask it to go away?

H1N1 is still here hundred years on and so will Covid-19

Surely there are plenty of labs trying to get ahead of it?

    • H1N1 goes back probably 1000s or 10000s of years in human population – we have evolved to “live with H1N1”.

SARS2 is either a lab engineered chimera or a bat virus – EITHER WAY – we have NOT evolved to “live with covid”. Trying to do so is unsustainable and catastrophic.

  9. The my feelings trump facts crowd are out in full force today – with the usual suspects offering up their brain dead tripe

Before you lot open your mouth and offer an opinion, try reading. I know it’s hard, but hey science and learning things will expand your mind.

  10. and still no leaders anywhere in the world are addressing the issue of how viruses jump from wild animals to humans? e.g. greater contact with wild animals due to habitat loss and attempts to farm them……

  11. I still haven’t caught it. Women at work have around my age and older 50s. They said it was no big deal. Younger men mid 30s who’ve had it twice said it was really bad but they fully recovered in a week or two. It still sounds similar to the flu so far.

  12. I think, thought covid was all over. Didn’t it end in September 2021? After a political decision was made instead of a scientifically backed health decision. A bunch of ceo’s wrote a letter to the then MP and she shat herself and made a call to end shit.

So can someone confirm whether it’s all on again or off again or wtf is happening because its all news to me that covid is back!

  13. Good stuff @ MB. In support, please find the following by the most excellent George Monbiot of the…
    The Guardian.
    George Monbiot.
    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2023/jan/26/covid-roulette-clean-air-ventilation-long-covid
‘We are all playing Covid roulette. Without clean air, the next infection could permanently disable you’
“As rich people plough money into ventilation to protect themselves, those with long Covid are treated as an embarrassment”
George Mondiot goes on to write:
… You need only gently propose that we might return to wearing masks on public transport to provoke hundreds of people on social media to bray “freedom!” and denounce you as a tyrant. Against their tiniest of freedoms – keeping their faces uncovered on trains and buses – the trolls weigh freedom from disability and even death, and decide that their right to breathe germs on to other people is the indispensable liberty.
These are the people who, with their threats and conspiracy theories, may have helped drive Jacinda Ardern, the politician who arguably protected more people from the virus than any other, out of office. They are the people who, in some cases, have abused mask wearers in the street, and doctors and nurses in hospitals. If they have not yet been infected, they attribute their good fortune to “natural immunity”, rather than not getting out very much. An Old Testament ableism pervades the ideology: those who are ill deserve to be ill.
