  1. What is really unhealthy in NZ? Covid is involved but the whole body of the country is decaying; main cause is carelessness in maintaining a good life of thoughtful, responsible behaviour instead falling for an indulgent, self-centred life avoiding proper responses to bleeding wounds, unpardonable politicking. How can a responsible rational body expect to continue with this behaviour and remain standing?

Ignoring the bleating from the flock of medical staff advanced specialists and delivery specialists and ancillary workers and who look to Labour and National to be good shepherds is totally irresponsible and counter-productive. Is there anyone home at the Beehive nerve centre? Knock knock – sorry there is no joke following.

  2. Odd that the gummint throws out our previous economic system with a certainty that doesn’t require trials and proof that we will do better off with a change basically with the information set out differently.

Latest in the news after gummint has intervened in a system for electricity that eas working reasonably well and now people are back applying to charities. The companies were making too much up front which theyu could then use to bring down prices of those who paid in good times.

Now Just over a month since the government scrapped low-use power plans, charities say they are being inundated with people struggling to power their electricity bills.

  3. We can’t hold onto compassion and interest for needy people for long, the elastic bands on the barrel organ wear out. I have felt guilty about not going on with giving some money to Greece to help them cope with refugees from Africa. They are fleeing to Greece which has been through an enforced Depression from the European Union. They are under economic pressure already which they think has come about because they have been encouraged in over their heads for others benefit. They are less happy than we are and I don’t think we have yet touched bottom. The news is not good in Greece and they can’t manage to take all the refugees that cross the water, even though they have put their lives at risk.

This is the news from 2020. More than 3,000 migrants, refugees and asylum seekers died or went missing last year while trying to reach Europe via Mediterranean and Atlantic sea routes, according to a new report by the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR).
UNHCR’s Shabia Mantoo told a news briefing in Geneva on Friday that the figure for 2021, a year in which Europe hardened its borders as new refugee crises flared, represented nearly twice the number of lives lost in the previous year.
UNHCR began releasing consolidated tolls in 2019 and the number of lives lost has risen each year since…
The agency appealed for $163.5m in support to help provide alternatives to the perilous boat journeys and prevent individuals from becoming the victims of human traffickers who operate on the routes to Europe….
European countries, many of which have opened their borders for Ukrainians fleeing war, have been criticised for their double standards in dealing with migrants and refugees from Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
