Now that the Chris Hipkins has kissed and made up with he death cult capitalists.

The only remaining question;

How many avoidable deaths, and avoidable hospitalisations and human suffering, do the government consider acceptable before they start listening to the health experts and scientists again, and reimpose the Level 4 Lockdown Alert they have asked for?

Ten?

Twenty?

One Hundred?

One Thousand?

I wonder which journalist will have the courage to ask the Prime Minister or Covid Response Minister this question?

Will the government cancel their weekly covid update press conferences before any journalist has a chance to put this question to them?

Govt shrugs off expert pleas for Level 4, expects cases to spike

Marc Daalder – 14 October, 2021

Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins has effectively ruled out a return to Level 4 in Auckland, in doing so disappointing public health experts who had urged the Government to engage in a hard “circuit-breaker” lockdown.

Instead, he warned that Aucklanders would have to prepare for more cases of the virus and that the Government will be changing Covid-19 measures to take into account both higher vaccination rates and the reality that cases are likely to spike….

“Ruling out Alert Level 4 will effectively also rule out Alert Level 1, leaving Aucklanders in the worst of both worlds with a large number of restrictions and a large (and growing) number of cases, hospitalisations and deaths.

  1. Dear Pat,

    Labour/Greens have your vote already. Ego they give less than 2 shits about what team left want. It’s the sheeple that matter for electoral success and if they want their haircut and trips to their Tairua batches – they shall get it. Hospital beds in Middlemore with brown faces are acceptable collateral damage.

    We had the same issues with Key into his 3rd term when he dabbled with flag referendums and failed to roll back any of Aunty Helen’s policies on the back of weekly polls and focus groups.

    Over the next 6 months you’ll see what we on the right have seen for the last year and a half. This was never about Health and all about politics as all covid-related decisions will be on the basis of pacifying office workers and suburban housewives in leafy suburbs.

  2. It’s here, Pat. Here to stay. The Govt blinked in mid September and threw in the towel. There’s no putting the cork back in the bottle.
    From now on: look first to your own and try to stay safe, consider others and encourage compliance with public health mitigation procedures. We are in for a rough two years.
