Like the new hydrogen electric powered trains Germany has just produced we need to get them also.

  1. I have just posted a comment on a vile video shown at a right wing conference in the US. What I did not see is that the linked article contained the actual video, and so has disgusting and vile content. (It is mock-up, but the content is no less .. well, evil, for want of a better word.)

It is only now when I go back and read the article again that I see the video is freely available on that page. If I had seen that, I would not have posted the link.

  2. If you think the abandonment of the Kurds would affect only those poor forsaken people, think again. Apart from the fact that the Turks have already fired Apart on US special ops forces… Turkey “is home to an estimated 50 American nuclear weapons.” (NYT ref.)

So now you have “a country with US nuclear weapons .. firing at US forces”.

“The fact that American nuclear weapons have been housed in a country with an increasingly authoritarian leader like Erdogan would be concerning enough. The calamity now playing out before the world shows exactly why this state of affairs can suddenly veer toward disaster ”

  3. Climate change electric rail revolution has arrived. Labour get it going please.

Germany is set to introduce the world’s first zero-emission passenger train to be powered by hydrogen.
The Coradia iLint only emits excess steam into the atmosphere, and provides an alternative to the country’s 4,000 diesel trains.
Lower Saxony has already ordered 14 of them from French company Alstom, and more are likely to be seen around the country if they are judged a success, reports Die Welt.
