Why is the Auckland City Council trying to quietly sell this building for such a cheap price?

  1. Because those planned apartments arent selling, off the plans so they’re wanting to unload it cheaply to a ‘mate’.
    Turn it into a one stop shop for the homeless, with medical facilities, MSD, and other services to support them all.
    They were planning on removing the asbestos, so that can be done too, for the whole 18 floors. Theyve been dicking around for years because the off the plan apartments are not selling.

  2. Aucklanders are being robbed before our eyes. In a housing crisis, there seems to be plenty of housing options to house people, but not being used….

  3. I’m pissed off that a lot of assets are still going under the sale around NZ still today.

    Napier port ois now in the middle of a sale too.

    Makes everyone sick.
