  1. Thought I would post this here rather on Bryan Bruce’s post about how he is getting grief as he was not being super supportive of lab/greens….politics 101:

1:Getting into government/power is no easy thing, yes to some degree it’s cyclical and the ‘other side’s turn’ is 1,2 or 3 election cycles away depending on how the govt performs.

2: STAYING in power is much harder, with just basically 2 years before election year is upon us (personally I believe a 4yr term is ideal, but that’s another post) so in order to win the next election you have to juggle to try and piss off the least amount of voters with every enacted policy.

Look, National was against WFF….socialism by stealth, but it affected so many voters that if they reversed the policy they would be slaughtered at next election, Labours ads saying National hate families, hate kids etc etc.

Now you guys are bemoaning Labour/Greens for a watered down climate policy, dropping the CGT. If the Coalition went as hard and deep as you far lefties want can you actually say the Lab/Green voters would increase or decrease? Actually probably both, but not in a good way, the far leftist vote increase, middle NZ left vote decreases (larger bloc)

Sorry to blab on so much, but just watch what you wish for, small baby steps still lead up to a big step after 2-3 terms!

    • When the ideas are vacant the loonies step up to lead, that’s you IM RIGHT.

When the ideas that are put forward are vacant and with out merit that’s when Y’know 2+4=6.

So instead of worrying about quantum computing and calculus it’s best to just focus on the. The money will always lead to the truth.

Truth is no one is interested in political speak in fact every decent person is sick of it. The coffers are going to be pride open whether the greedy and well housed like it or not.

  2. Jacinda’s high level meeting that she wants to co-chair with Emmanuel Macron, being on social media and hate speech and so forth:

Zuckerberg did already meet with Macron, but will not attend, so that is a bit of a snub, I presume.

This is what will really pull some IT and other people to come to Paris, rather than Jacinda’s meeting:

And then there will be this high level meeting:

And this is what else is happening in Paris now and shortly:
