Karel Sroubek’s mother Mila: ‘Give him one last chance’

She said his wife has filed for divorce after entering a relationship with Mark Davey, who she said was a member of the National Party.

When asked why she thought her son’s case had become political, she answered: “In the beginning it was personal interest of my son’s wife and her new partner, but then it became political because the National Party now can use it to increase pressure on the current minister.”

Mark Davey, who is a National Party member and candidate for the National Party Auckland local government ticket ‘Auckland Future’ is now in a relationship with Karel Sroubek’s ex-partner?

National MP’s Michael Woodhouse and Mark Mitchell have both come out and said they don’t know Davey, but isn’t it suspicious in the extreme that National only seized upon this fiasco after a local candidate began a relationship with Sroubek’s ex-partner?

There are enough reasons already to conclude this is a storm in a tea cup, but this latest fact starts making it look suspicious.

  1. it was suspicious when Simon Bridges on RNZ at around 8am one morning, seemed to have inside knowledge about the Czech’s trip home, which had not popped up in the house the day before–was an Immigration NZ staff member doing a Yes Minister undermining on the Govt. or someone else like Soubrek’s ex and her National aligned partner?

    this all points towards a convenient attack opportunity for the Nats–why did this case out of all the immigration cases, appear in public at this time? Political hit job?

    reactionaries from Slater and Lusk, remember Bevan Chuang? to Key and Bridges, seem only too keen on using women in their political dirty tricks

  2. I take it Sroubek’s ex partner realises anything she says about Sroubek to Davey, is more than likely to be used for Natz political point scoring! Seems this is already the case now.

    Be interesting what Whale Oil will do with this info if/when he gets wind of it and no doubt he will! WO is not on good terms with Natz right now!

    This one is very likely to blow up in Natz’s face, once their information source comes out publicly! Then there is the likelihood of more recordings from JLR being revealed. And Natz can’t predict when the next one is coming … Ouch!

Mating with a National Party member comes at an even worse cost than I envisaged.

    And of course the faux outrage and concern and innocence over where the information came from. Liars!

    Question is can Sroubek please be paroled to the house next to Mitchell or Maggie Barry?

    • Why assume that a crim votes Labour? Criminals, like national party supporters, prefer to have less government involvement in their lives. If they vote, they are more likely to vote National.

    • E is probably safer than all of these – alcohol, tobacco, sugar and marijuana.

      It should be on legal sale.

      And those going to a dealer trying to get E and getting offered P instead. Or going to a dealer to get marijuana and getting offered a free trial of P – our law is almost criminal in its stupidity.
