PM denies misleading Parliament about correspondence with Derek Handley
Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern says she did not mislead Parliament over her relationship with Derek Handley.Earlier this month Ardern told Parliament that she had received a text from Handley about the highly-paid chief technology officer (CTO) role he was applying for, but she had not responded to it.
Messages released by Handley on Tuesday show she did respond to a message from him asking “What is best email to send you a note w some starter thoughts? [sic]” – although this message was part of a chain about more than just the CTO role.
For the love of Christ brothers and sisters, I wish as much moral outrage over Jacinda & Handley’s innocuous emails by the media and right wing punish could have occurred over Key’s mass surveillance lies, meth hysteria, dirty politics and colluding with the SIS to smear Phil Goff.

The meth hysteria National fed the media needlessly cost us $120million and threw 2400 state tenants onto the street.
The dirty politics revelations exposed a nexus of right wing bloggers smearing political opponents with the total support of the National Party and can anyone forget the PMs Office colluded with the secret Intelligence Service months before the 2011 election to falsely smear Phil Goff!
I can’t take manufactured faux outrage over Jacinda emailing someone as brilliant as Handley and wanting him to be part of the new Government seriously as an abuse of political power when National’s 9 years in power breached every rule and ethical line.
John Key hired his school mate to run the GCSB at a time he was forcing mass surveillance through – how come that didn’t receive the near wall to wall coverage of Jacinda and Handley?

I do not think it is that ‘petty’, it is embarrassing. But the MSM have of course forgotten all the BS John Key got up to, they forgave Teflon John for almost anything.
Jacinda has been a bit convenient with the truth, it seems, but in light of Key et al, what ‘crime’ is that these days?
I would expect better of this government, but they are showing, they run affairs as per usual, not better, and that is a fact.
