Come on peeps – let’s admit that our warped view on punishment, fed by a crime driven media and tough on crime manipulating politicians, has become a problem.

We have allowed prisons to be run by private companies because we don’t care about prisoner rights.

We stripped prisoners of their rights to vote because we don’t care about prisoner rights.

We double bunked prisoners creating tensions because we don’t care about prisoner rights.

We now have never ending detention for those prisoners who have been locked up too long and have become even more damaged because we don’t care about prisoner right.

We have one of the worst incarceration rates in the world because we don’t care about prisoner rights.

So blinded and angry we are with prisoners, we want to see them suffer and degraded which only creates human beings even more broken than when they went in.

Now we have these NZ citizens being returned from Australia despite the Australians lying to John Key about the process

Detainees who opt to return to New Zealand to have their appeal against deportation processed are being asked to sign a form that states their case may be dismissed once they leave Australia, Green Party lawyer Greg Barns says.

…it should be no surprise that Australian prisoners deported here with no support are now breaking laws...

A New Zealander deported from Australia earlier this month has been arrested for an alleged burglary in Hamilton today.

A Waikato police spokeswoman said the 25-year-old man was arrested shortly before midday.

“Earlier this month he had been the subject of a deportation from Australia.”

…and when you look at the lies that have been spun around how detainees are free to return to Australia, consider the prisoner also has to pay for the flight and the two police officers to accompany them. It’s an option none of these guys have the money to afford!

It is our warped need to punish and make prisoners suffer that is exacerbating this issue.

  1. This is just one more aspect of the race to the bottom that Key and his opportunistic globalist mates have orchestrated.

NZ can never win the race to the bottom because every bad policy implemented here is more than matched by an even worse policies by the maniacs in power overseas -especially in the US, Europe, UK, Australia and Canada etc.

Falling is bad enough but the real pain will come with the hard landing that must inevitably come when everything -the financial system, the energy system, the environment and social cohesion- collapses between 2016 and 2020.

The writing has been on the wall for a long time, and is still almost universally ignored, even as it is now takes the form of flashing red lights.

From Zero Hedge: ‘Moments ago, the Bank of Canada’s chief finally said what we had been patiently waiting for over the past several months: admission that Europe’s experiment with negative rates is about to cross the Atlantic. From Market News:
•BOC POLOZ: NOW SEES EFFECTIVE LOWER BOUND FOR POLICY RATE AROUND -0.5%’
