The Right Wing of the Labour Party – being more offended by ‘Fuck John Key’ than 250 000 children in poverty since 1984

It’s not JFK, it’s FJK as in,

“Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what your government can do for its mates”
– FJK

So the right wing of the Labour Party are up in arms against Internet MANA again, this time over students chanting ‘Fuck John Key’ at a Party in Christchurch. Hooton has done the ground work, the mainstream media have ridiculously called it Nazism and the the right wing of the Labour Party have jumped on board and are now being congratulated by David Farrar of all people..

…the audacity here is Hipkins talking about cynical thuggery – who can forget the cynical manner in which Hipkins thuggishly attacked Cunliffe post the 2012 Labour conference?

The time and energy the right wing of the Labour Party have spent attacking a Party whose major focus is feeding children in poverty and dumping mass surveillance legislation is astounding.

  1. Its laughable how commentators keep saying dotcom ‘manipulated’ children to chant this. Its little wonder these politicians can’t relate to youth because they assume they don’t have minds of their own.

    • Look @Stateofmind on twitter, they have footage of the crowd chanting FJK an hour before dotcom even got to the venue.

  2. Agreed Martyn.
So how do we rid ourselves of the likes of Hipkins and other ‘right wing Labourites’ and send them off to the ‘left wing’ of the National party, where they seemingly belong and who’s work they’re already doing, whilst hiding (in a cuckoo way) under a Labour party?
Maybe they’d be better described-referred to in future as the Labour party cuckoos (in more than one way !!!).

  3. I am starting to believe what pundits have been consistently saying about the Labour Party right-wing for the last couple of months, namely that they don’t really want Labour to win this election. Sure, if Labour did win, they would take their share of the credit but it would arguably create more problems for them if Labour wins, then if Labour loses.
If Labour wins, it will be due to the old school Labour, or Labour left. They are the ones fighting the election most actively and intensely. The Labour right are really just standing at the peripheral, chiming in with a few good lines every now and again but in reality bagging the party more than supporting it. If Labour wins they will be in a real dilemma, they will be forced to go along with the promises such as clean water, land purchases by foreigners, and many other policies which they don’t really support, or at best support only grudgingly. To make it worse they would probably have to work with the Greens and/or Internet/Mana which would really annoy them. Do they go along with them or oppose them and see their government disintegrate overnight? No, for them it would be better for Labour to lose and then afterwards they can start the purge of the left and track Labour back to where they think it should be – a slightly more socially responsible version of the National Party. The Labour right effectively gave up on the election a few months ago, only the left are still in it and by themselves their chances are fairly low.

    • So… what are WE going to do about it??? It is time for a final confrontation with these bloody right wing Trojan Horses who ahve all but taken over th Labour Party caucus. Are enough of us prepared to rise up and TOSS THEM OUT of the party???? I certainly am!!!!

      • Me too, Peter. Mallard, Goff, Hipkins, Cosgrove. Why are they still there? David needs to get a stiff broom.

  4. When I was first able to vote in the UK I voted Labour. I became an active trade unionist. I continued to vote Labour even in the dark days of the 1980s. I came to NZ and continued to vote Labour.

I live in Hipkins’ constituency and will give him my electorate vote. However for the first time in my life the vote that matters will go to a Tory party.

I am not prepared to risk a Labour government propped up by IM funded by someone who is no more socialist than John Key but probably richer. He is someone without ideology or principle and is motivated by revenge and a desire to escape extradition.

IM may well pick up the vote of the mob but it may be at the cost of Labour losing thousands of voters who are appalled cat the prospect of IM holDing the balance of power.

I wrote to Hipkins and said all this to him and his response was that I should give my party vote to Labour so that with other votes they would not be reliant on other parties. He also asked me to consider the prospect of Act holding the balance of power.

My response was that in the unlikely event of a Labour revival with polls in the region of 40% I would return to the fold. Failing that I considered Act the lesser evil than the rabble from IM.

    • Whose side are you on? That a load of rubbish! Go and vote for ACT, if that is how you feel! Yuo have obviously bought into the narrative of the Amercians in regard to Dotcom. Of course he is a bloody rogue, but Shonkey has done a thouasand times more damage than what he has done, and as for the FBI, that is a totally CORRUPT organization.

    • It amazes me how little insight people have into Kim Dotcom. Can’t you imagine what it is like for a powerful person to suddenly be tipped out of their comfortable bubble like happened when his home was raided? Can’t you imagine what it is like to see your family terrified and your pregnant wife standing in the cold and not be able to do anything about it?

Those events totally radicalised him – as you would expect, it’s a hell of a thing to happen to a person.

I sincerely suggest you put the information you’ve got about him from the media to one side and go and visit the policy discussion boards at the Internet Party site. Then go and find all the interviews of Kim Dotcom which are UNEDITED or by someone who is sympathetic and lets him talk. Next go and read the long interview on Scoop with Laila Harre.

There’s probably more stuff out there but that should be enough to see what I mean.

      • You’re right Adam. Kim Dotcom. has never been caught telling a lie or having a brain fade. Better ten dotcoms than one Key.

        • Kathy – correct.

KDC has quite a track record. Everything he has said has been proven to be true. He has not been caught out even once telling porkies.

Contrast that to Banks, who was recently convicted for lying with a fraudulent electoral return.

And contrast to Key who has a track record for, um, “bending the truth” and “brain fades”.

Ben – I seriously doubt you are who you say you are. No trade unionist would vote for a Tory party that is actively under-mining workers’ rights.

          Your comments are not believable.

    • “funded by someone who is no more socialist than John Key but probably richer”
That is quite a statement to make.
And how is it that a man who worked for the largest banks in the history of the world is only worth 50 odd million NZD?

      • Because he is actually just an ‘average Joe’ …. The oligarchy behind him underestimated KDC drastically.

  5. I had my doubts whether Labour really wanted to win this election, I don’t think they want it enough. I have voted Labour all my life and had intended to do so again, this election. I have changed my mind. My vote will now go to either the Greens or Internet/Mana, I want a fresh, new govt with fresh, new ideas for the age we live in, now.

    • Would take more than this to make me change from Labour – I have voted Labour since Big Norm. Deal with the rightwingers later if labour loses. Make sure rightwingers don’t get selected next time.

  6. Whuk John Key and his toadies ! That’d be you Hipkins ! Get your head out of your arse and do the left thing !!!

  7. Bloody Hipkins should stuff a sock in his mouth, as should Davis and Cosgrove. For MPs in a supposedly “left wing” party, they are a DISGRACE, and I say that as a card-carrying Labour Party member. They do NOT belong in the same party as me!

  8. Chris Hipkins…Clayton Cosgrove, methinks these are disenchanted Cunliffe haters. Take note, David, when you win the election, put these deadbeats on the back benches.

  9. When will the Labour party cleanse itself of these buggers. If they want right wing policies then tell them to f*ck off and join the nats!

  10. Everyone should vote for the party that aligns best with their own personal values.

The posturing, interpreting of action, twisting and turning of perspectives should just be acknowledged as politic parades.

At the end of the day they are all floats and the people will make thier choice and that will be that lol

  11. Great stuff ! Without The Daily Blog and without us lot blogging , that hairless , evil , teddy bear hipkins would be able to drip his poisons with impunity . Times , are indeed a-changin’ .
Oh and yes FUCK JONKY-STIEN ! And FUCK HIS MINIONS !
