  1. Can we crowd-fund and get them all back? And if that doesn’t work, raise taxes on the rich.

And once they are back in government hands, make it personal liability treason to sell off assets forever and ever amen.

    1. Introduce state price control of electricity to the lowest cost producer as suggested in a previous election then buy the shares cheap when the price drops.

      1. Yeah, like a dose of their own medicine. The Natz are doing this sort of thing with state housing, to drive down the price for their mates.

  2. Don’t forget that Green Party members did the lion’s share of the work in collecting signatures for the Keep Our Assets campaign.

  3. “72 hours after a poll-result which once again showed The Greens trading votes with New Zealand First”

Please stop this silly claim. Just because the Greens went down four points and NZ First went up one, that doesn’t mean jack shit. It was one poll – get back to us when you have 3-4 polls in a row showing a pattern. Here’s the latest Roy Morgan which shows NZ First chugging along at 6% and the Greens stable on about 14% http://www.roymorgan.com/findings/6678-roy-morgan-new-zealand-voting-intention-february-2016-201602190455

Your campaign to frame the Greens as stealing NZ First’s policies is classic NZ First strategy – it’s divisive and not true. The Greens ain’t conservative nationalists. They have no interest in building detention centres for refugees that aren’t arriving. They have no desire for a one-law-for-all perspective, nor binding referendums (those are more aligned with ACT and the Conservatives).

The Greens do have some issues with their direction over the past 10 years – do they need to shift away from economic realism and become more anti-capitalist like they were? This is their problem. But one thing they are not doing is stealing policies from conservative nationalists.

Also, if you want to talk about who was backing who, then think about how NZ First has treated MANA – a proper left party. NZ First divide the left – your recent posts highlight this. Nonsense!
