TWITTER WATCH: ACT behaving like fragile snowflakes being outraged for second hand car salesmen

…isn’t it funny how Free Speech Champions like ACT who are the first to claim the woke be snowflakes are behaving like such little snowflakes?

Did Jenny hurt his feelings?

If ACTs take away from the scathing criticism of their race stunt Principles Bill is to take offence on behalf of second hand car salesmen would be hilarious if it wasn’t so dangerous.

Combine this with the fact ACT are no longer even sending representatives to hear the submissions…

ACT taps out of Treaty Principles Bill submission process – Labour

“The ACT Party can’t be bothered putting an MP on one of the Justice subcommittees hearing submissions on their own Treaty Principles Bill,” Labour Justice Spokesperson Duncan Webb said.

 

“It is bad enough that ACT has put New Zealand through the expense and anguish of this doomed Bill, but to then refuse to hear oral submissions is utterly disrespectful, lazy, and it shows that this is all just a stunt by David Seymour.

“It is outrageous that $6 million of the taxpayer’s money is being misused to promote ACT Party ideology, while Christopher Luxon stands idly by. For the ACT Party to refuse to send an MP to hear 30 of the 80 hours of submissions just adds insult to injury.

“Thousands of New Zealanders have spent hours carefully preparing their submissions and some have been invited to submit to the select committee. Those submitters deserve to have the ACT Party listen to what they have to say. The ACT Party’s suggestion that they have more important things to do is insulting and disingenuous,” Duncan Webb said.

…and you have a Party pretending to have a good faith debate while being wilfully ignorant and taking offence on behalf of second hand cars salesmen.

How dare this be framed as a legitimate debate about our democratic values when it’s really just a political hate stunt.

    The treaty bill is all about being equal is it baby David? Then why are your policies separatist?
    And free speech is only free speech if baby David says it is.

  4. “Arthur Dailey Seymour” has a big heart and noble intentions, which is why, as soon as he becomes deputy PM later this year, and PM Biggles Luxon is on one of his many overseas jaunts, that Seymour should initiate his project 2025 Atlas “operation Humpty Dumpty”, and cancel the PMs passport, put him on a no fly list, have the NZ initiative declare a fatwa on him, and strand him in some far flung corner of the Congo, with no embassey presence, so that Seymour can assume his rightful place as permanent instead of acting PM, and whisk Elon into the NZ on a golden visa, to be his newly crowned deputy, to kick the country into shape – back on track and great again.

  5. In this second hand market we have this great little cluster of islands up for sale.
    Forests, mountains, mineral deposits, farmland, lakes and rivers, fisheries all in great condition(not really – been thrashed quite badly by incompetent operators – needs quite a bit of restoration).     I have yet to hear those who voted for this idiocy in drag start to pretend they didn’t, but the need to avoid reponsibility will force them to engage in the usual hypocrisy once even the slowest and most stupid of the tory fan base realise they backed a pup..
    Meanwhile, our pitiful excuse for a news media is practicing which “attitude” they should be copping once the sad reality of NZ’s incompetent and morally unfit “leadership” is shown up for what it is…
    It’s only a matter of time before that happens…

    1. Yes, I worked for one week for a shyster salesman and he was exactly like Seymour. I l resigned because of his appalling attitude. That is what Shipley was alluding too.

    the simple idea? – see below

    that we? – the voters?

    are all? – citizens? permanent residents?

    equal? – see below

    and should all have an equal say? – in a party political system of mob rule and partisanship

    in our constitutional future? not bloody likely.
