Throwing Chloe out of Parliament for demanding actual leadership from our Zionist Apologist Government is outrageous
Greens co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick barred from Parliament for rest of week after Gaza speech
Green co-leader Chlöe Swarbrick has been ejected from Parliament’s debating chamber and told to leave for the rest of the week after a fiery speech about the war in Gaza.
The incident occured during an urgent debate on Tuesday afternoon which was called after the coalition’s announcement that it would come to a formal decision in September over whether to recognise the state of Palestine.
As Swarbrick came to the end of her contribution, she challenged coalition MPs to back her member’s bill allowing New Zealand to apply sanctions on Israel “for its war crimes.”
“If we find six of 68 government MPs with a spine, we can stand on the right side of history,” Swarbrick said.
Almost immediately, Speaker Gerry Brownlee condemned the remark as “completely unacceptable” and demanded she “withdraw it and apologise”.
Swarbrick shot back a curt – “no” – prompting Brownlee to order her out of the chamber for the remainder of the week.
“Happily,” Swarbrick said, as she rose to leave.
As the number of dead Palestinians climbs to hundreds of thousands, this Government continues to beholden to domestic Zionist apologists who are forcing the Government to drag their feet over criticising Israel’s war crime genocide.
Chloe demanded that just 6 MPs from that Government show some spine and for that, she was thrown out of Parliament and banned for the rest of the week.
It is a gutless attack on the Greens for having the temerity to demand leadership.
Zinonist Apologist and ACT MP Simon Court, had the fucking audacity to describe the Greens as promoting Hamas propaganda!

The Israelis defended killing him and his 4 fellow journalists by claiming he was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell, an allegation fiercy denied by his colleagues and Al Jazeera.
If anyone else was murdering journalists because they were exposing terrible violence, we would universally and righteously condemn that, yet because it’s an Ally enabled by an even bigger ally, we say as little as possible.
You either believe in laws or you don’t.

The week ban imposed by big Jezza is over the top (unless she grovels to the House today or later in the week upon which she will be allowed back according to the Speaker). NZ First denigrating Mexicans and Jones telling Green members their Palestinian scarves were “terrorist tea towels”–Jones does not respect his own culture let alone anyone else’s it seems.

When we look at what is happening in the US and UK, we should be dismissive of those like Brownlee wanting to suppress the truth, and call them out for exactly what they are.
I would think that Brownlee is the ultimate spineless wonder; he didn’t have the integrity to let his electorate decide his value, so he went on the list instead. Parliament has such pathetic rules, Chloe has to apologise to get back into parliament, yet losers like him, who have done nothing useful for the people rule as if they are some sort of Caesar.

A friend did a search of Hansard to see how often the accusation ‘spineless’ has been used in Parliament. Between 1954 and 1990, it has been used 61 times. Yet suddenly it is unacceptable to say that there is a lack of spinal fortitude?

Many long-standing politicians such as Brownlee, think they’ll leave parliament on their own terms. At the rate they are going now, I think a few of them will have a nasty surprise next election even if they are safely tucked up on the list.
Chloe is trying to prove she really is leader of the opposition. She is playing to her fan club just like most politicians .I cannot stand her and her Party but I admire her sincerity but you cannot break rules and get away with it otherwise what happens.
