US weighs in on Roger Waters antisemitism debate, says artist has long history of denigrating Jews

The Biden administration is weighing in on the controversy over Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters, saying his recent performances in Germany were antisemitic, an assessment shared by many in Israel and the pro-Israel community.

Roger Waters is one of the most important artists of 20th Century pop culture. His art has always challenged fascism and the Orwellian State and he has always stood with the under dog.

His righteous criticism of the violent subjugation of Palestinian people via the illegal occupation of Palestinian land by the brutal Israeli Military State are legitimate criticisms against a terrible human rights violation which is allowed because America backs Israeli no matter what terrible things they do.

Rogers criticism has earned him fierce critics and the current attempt to cancel him for ‘antisemitism’ is another example of the censorship whine critical off Israel’s deplorable human rights abuses faces…

Roger Waters Slams ‘Bad Faith Attacks’ Alleging Antisemitism, as German Police Open Investigation

Former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters took to social media Friday night to defend himself — as he often has in recent years — against charges of antisemitism, saying that “my recent performance in Berlin has attracted bad faith attacks from those who want to smear and silence me because they disagree with my political views and moral principles.”

His statement followed on the heels of Berlin police telling news media that they had opened an investigation into Waters’ behavior and imagery at his arena concerts in Berlin. Waters did not directly refer to the news of the German police investigation in his post.

“The elements of my performance that have been questioned are quite clearly a statement in opposition to fascism, injustice and bigotry in all its forms,” Waters wrote on Facebook. “Attempts to portray those elements as something else are disingenuous and politically motivated. The depiction of an unhinged fascist demagogue has been a feature of my shows since Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’ in 1980.”

..Rogers is being called antisemitic because The Wall deals with fascsism.

It’s like PETA claiming ‘Watership Down’ is an Anti-Vivisection hate crime because it includes Rabbits in the story!

Accusing anyone who criticises the human rights abuses of Israel of antisemitism is a tactic we see in NZ by Free Speech Union scumbags and we’ve seen it in Britain!

Al Jazeera’s damning documentary into how Corbyn was undermined and framed as an antisemite by the Zionist Apartheid Israeli supporters who falsified and lied about the level of antisemitism inside Labour to destroy Corbyn highlights these appalling  tactics.

The same tactics are being used against an artist like Roger Waters because his truth telling hurts Israel’s long term plan to force all Palestinians off their land.

We should all make an effort to play more Roger Waters as loudly as we can, especially near American and Israeli embassies.

When these human rights abusing cretins are attempting to book burn art like Pink Floyd, we need to stand.
