Erica Stanford’s racist attack on public education is designed to stop public education giving all kids the critical skills to survive and reduce them to just time stressed testing models which will fail many.
The racist element of her design should shock all. Those who are advising the Minister are Atlas Network adjacent acolytes who understand that any indigenous perspective makes those students impossible to steal resources from. Eradicating the indigenous perspective from public education is a long term investment by the Atlas Network to ensure future theft off resources can occur as seamlessly as possible.
This isn’t the only only reason why the Right constantly use Māori as a political punching bag, by removing the protections of the Treaty, they get to exploit natural resources WHILE exciting their redneck older culture war boomers to keep politically relevant on the embittered Chris Trotters of NZ.
Meanwhile the planet burns.
The decision last week to strip the Climate Change Commission of its powers alongside their bullshit Methane target highlights what a climate denier Government National/ACT/NZF really are.
This as the country was devastated by climate change extreme weather.
What this extreme weather from climate change has taught us is how broken our resilience infrastructure is.
The danger for the polluters and the alt-Right is that with every passing year, the scientific evidence for climate change only gets stronger and the extreme weather becomes impossible to ignore, what this will do is force the political class to take the issue seriously.
We need a massive upgrade of Civil Defence and far more resources spent on ensuring our infrastructure has the flexibility to withstand these types of extreme weather events.
We need RSAs and Maraes to be built up into Community civil Defence Hubs and we need a solar panel campaign to ensure a flexible electrical grid alongside better battery cell towers.
We need a Civil Defence that is far better resourced than they are now with permanent clean up crew staff on stand by because this doesn’t get better right?
The 230km hour winds we just experienced only get worse, as heat continues to pour into the atmosphere because of human made pollution, the extreme weather gets worse and worse, we need a new Civil Defence regime that reflects the reality of what we are seeing.
Dr Bryce Edwards highlights that the recent local council elections had lobby groups like ‘The Local Government Business Forum’ — a coalition including Business New Zealand, the New Zealand Initiative, and Federated Farmers — openly calling for voters to elect candidates with “commercial and financial acumen” and a “pro-growth and pro-development mindset”, part of the problem here in NZ is that business lobby groups can mask their polluter interests with dark Ag money that the wider electorate can’t see.
The reason the astro-turf alt-right are so focused on undermining local councils and Government is because the polluter interests that fund these groups want a Government so undermined that when the realities of climate change finally get into the heads of muddle NuZilind, there isn’t a Government with the capacity to do anything about the Polluters.

The jackboot of the State should always be on the throat of the Billionaires, Organised Crime, Big Tobacco, the booze Barons, gambling, the speculators, the banks, the polluters and the corporations.
But this Government have turned the State’s jackboot upon us the people!
- Their draconian welfare sanctions that are aimed at disqualifying you from welfare rather than helping you find you a job.
- The 8000 long-term clients cut from ACC without warning.
- IRD invading peoples bank accounts to take debt.
- 500 kids were abused in State care last year.
- Our suicide rate continues to soar.
- 5.3% unemployment.
- The $2200 fees on those who are official property managers for people unable to file with the Public Trust
- 90 000 are too broken to function.
- Stopping local communities from complaining about bottle shops opening in their community.
- Knee capping Pay parity, literally robbing working women to afford tax loop holes for landlords.
We used to mock Jacinda’s kindness mantra, but when a Government department was caught being unkind, they could expect media coverage with demands of, ‘Is this Kind Jacinda’? and whatever the issue was, the Department would suddenly find an exemption and the person not treated like shit.
Under this Government however, it seems like a weekly competition by Government Departments on who can be the biggest arsehole to Kiws.
How angry at Jacinda in your post Covid bitterness must you be to find all of this acceptable?
This is an anti-Māori, anti-Treaty, anti-worker, anti-renter, anti-beneficiary, anti-disabled, anti-environment Government who are strangling the common good for their donors interests, at some stage Kiwi you have to acknowledge the damage you unleashed by voting ACT, NZF or National.
Comrades, your enemy isn’t some kid transitioning, it’s not a Māori woman in politics, Māori women in media, or Māori women outside walking!
Your enemy isn’t drag queen story time, it’s not environmentalists, it’s not beneficiaries, it’s not state tenants, it’s not renters, it’s not the Treaty.
Your enemy is who it’s always been, the banks, the billionaires, the corporations, the powerful who use social media hate algorithms to warp you into believing their interests are your interests when nothing can be further from the truth!

In a country like NZ there is no room or excuse for RACISM. The settler brigade invaded NZ and TOOK what they WANTED from Maori. I’m not advocating here that they should be treated in a special way, but stop putting them down. You are the ‘interlopers’ the ‘invaders’ not them. The British TOOK large areas of land under the NZ Settlements Act 1863. They did the same to many other countries – as if it was their right! I’m happy to not be from Settler stock!
