The dates Trump AND Luxon will truly panic in Iran quagmire
Trump thrashing around trying to manipulate the oil markets while he builds up an over the top military response as soon as Wall st. closes on Friday is like some apocalyptic Reality TV show.
It’s as bad as watching Luxon go into his dead eyed CEO KPI routine in an effort to keep voters calm even though he knows we are in real danger…
…petrol and jet fuel aren’t the issue, it’s Diesel, the machinery that keeps society moving runs on Diesel, without it enormous parts of the economy shut down and that generates a massive inflation tsunami and unemployment spike.
The hope is Trump will somehow disentangle himself from the greatest geopolitical blunder since Vietnam.
The date Luxon fears is the day NZ runs out of Diesel and that date is based on when the Straits reopen.
If Iran refuse to reopen, NZ runs out of Diesel and deep damage occurs.
The date Trump fears is the date Israel and America runs out of Interceptor Missiles. Each passing day sees Iran’s strategy of using up Israeli and American missile stockpile is building in the coming month.
It is in Iran’s interests right now to let this crisis last 6months before they negotiate because the global economy will be on its knees from fuel shutdown and inflation.
The Republican Guard have said they can fight an asymmetric war for 6 months!
If you think things are bad now, imagine it in 6 months!
There will be massive unrest throughout the world as workers impacted directly take to the streets.
Israel and America will have run out of interceptors and Iranian drones will be causing enormous damage.
Economies will face massive price distortions and markets will spin into a doom loop.
None of this should surprise anyone!

They killed an old Ayatollah who was near death and replaced him with a much more hard line and younger Ayatollah who will rule for decades, and Israel and America killed that new Ayatollah’s Brother-in-law, Wife, Son and Dad.
I’m no PHD student in Psychology, but methinks he may carry some sort of grudge and desire for revenge.
It is in Iran’s interests for a 6 month conflict, that’s when their negotiating power will be at its greatest.
Trump has failed utterly to comprehend the enormity of this foolish and illegal war.
