If the state of our public service and agencies of state (such as NZDF) aren’t of concern to this coalition government, they should be.
Not only have we watched various Ministries and Depts act against the public they are there to SERVE, but it’s bloody obvious many have gone rogue.
Lying to the public directly, using private companies to spy on citizens unchecked and at the whim of CEOs or Snr Management….
Whatever happened to those neoliberal claims in the 80s about greater accountability, efficiency and effectiveness, depoliticisation et al.
There are people in senior positions who should never be allowed to work in ou PS again if we want to consider ourselves a functioning democracy.
