The Commerce Commission is urging the government to break up the supermarket duopoly and stop major players enjoying high profits at the expense of consumers.
Yet, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (Andrew Bayly) said government intervention to break up the duopoly would be a “last resort”

Someone remind that Minster they are meant to work for us. The time to use that “last resort” is now. Allowing this inflationary practice to further continue is harming our people and our economy.
