Read about Scott and Shackleton’s exploration to Antarctica. They didn’t get ambulance service on their demanding, ground-breaking journeys. How can we afford to send people into space and bring them home when there is a human or mechanical breakdown?
They can get the same glory in death of my birth father for flying a bomber with a crew over Europe in WW2 coming down once successfully only soon to be fired at and have the cockpit flame up according to the rear gunner. All the people that have died fighting in wars at the whim and behest of madmen abandoned to a mad idea,; each one of them a small miracle of advanced, spiritual human evolution!
