Winston Peters makes squiggly letter joke after Greens reach out with real letter
Winston Peters has held up a letter with colourful squiggles drawn on it, taking a swipe at the Green Party, who had actually sent him a letter – just not this one.
The moment unfolded around Parliament on Tuesday as the NZ First leader answered questions from gallery reporters.
“They’ve written to you, haven’t they minister,” a reporter asked, probing about the two parties’ apparent shared position that the power company gentailers be split up.
“Well actually, it’s funny you should say that… this is what I got, that I’m trying to figure it out,” Peters said.
He then held up a letter with pink, green and blue squiggles on it that had the signatures of the Green Party co-leaders at the end.
“Who made the squiggles, can you tell us?” a reporter asked in a follow up question.

The Greens were reaching out to find common ground on NZFirst’s announcement of breaking up the gentailers through structural separation, a long standing position of the Greens.
What does Winston do?

I just think that NZFirst have really lurched to a Handmaid’s Tale far right with the announcement of virulent anti-abortionist Alfred Ngaro.
Can someone in the Press Gallery ask Alfred if he wants to make abortion illegal in NZ the way Trump did in America?
We should have him on the record before the election.

I touched on Winston’s utter IGNORANCE and LACK OF CLASS on 25/3 re the ‘genuine’ letter received from the Green party. How anyone, except those in a tin hat, could vote for this dehumanized lump, who has clearly lost the plot, beats the hell out of me. He is supposed to be an MP not a comedian – but he is a total CLOWN. If there is to be a referendum on abortion, ONLY FEMALES s/be allowed to vote. So easy for narrow-minded males to pontificate – they don’t have to carry the child for 9 months then support it for 18+years while many “fathers” skip their responsibilities. Hope I have opened a huge can of worms here!!!
