The Boomer King Wayne Brown declares war on Public Transport
I love the predictability of the privatisation agenda after the Boomer King won a Mayoralty election rigged by voter suppression outcomes caused by privatising the Mayoralty elections.
After his torturous press conference where his only concern was to repeatedly tell everyone that it wasn’t his fault that there was no communications for 4 hours as Aucklanders faced the most dangerous weather event Auckland has seen post colonisation, his capacity to just ram the privatisation agenda through has slowed but not stopped.
His latest plans to permanently dump bus services and increase fares on public transport is the diametric opposite of what this fucking bumbling muppet should be doing!
Jesus fucking wept folks, we just saw Auckland City, OUR CITY, drown from once every 200 year folds and then hit by once in every 150 year cyclone and the future looks worse!
We need free public transport you morons! NOT less and more expensive!
If public transport was free, it would remove people from private car use and allow the roads to be quicker to use for tradesmen and business WHILE reducing our emissions which are causing the extreme weather!

Mayor Wayne Brown picks up then phone and asks Central Government to pick up the free public transport the way they are with Light Rail and did with the Rail Tunnel.
Instead of doom the City to a more damaged public transport system, he should be engaging with Central Government and negotiating a deal for them to pay!
He can’t do that because he’s a stubborn arsehole who is utterly unsuitable for the job!
This bullshit thinking, this backward leadership, this shear fuckwittery of his plan to slash bus services and make public transport more expensive must be shat upon with the most vile of pollutants!
Tell the Mayor what you think of his desire to make the environmental situation worse all because he doesn’t have the interpersonal communication skills to talk to Wellington.
Look, we love it when he tells The Spinoff to get fucked, because we all dream of a time in our professional lives when we get the chance to tell the The Spinoff to fuck off, but that’s over petty shit we don’t care about, protecting the city and transitioning to radical solutions like free public transport is essential and he is going in the complete opposite direction to that solution.
We are in the age of consequences with climate change now, this Summer has shown us that it’s not some distant threat at the end of the century, not is here , it is now and this is the time for radical adaptation.

Well, the Councillors have to front up and say NO and vote NO to what is essentially a Natzo agenda. And a public campaign needs to be run also to include all those that have woken up to this travesty of a Mayor.
This is after the ridiculous old coot told AT to spray used oil on dirt roads to keep the dust down a couple of weeks ago! So while we are buggering the climate, let’s bugger the water tables and waterways too eh Wayne?
I seriously question whether this man is mentally fit for Office.
He dsplays many symptoms of onset dementia.
During the debates with Efeso he stood there like a slack jawed yocal , mouth hanging open. I half expected a carer to intervene and wipe a string of drool from his chin. Then he started rambling about renovating his own house for some reason. It was so off topic I thought the was going to do a Grandpa Simpson and talk about how he used to tie an Onion to his belt…. because that was the fashion of the day.
Then we had the debacle of the flood, where he sat behind his desk for hours with a cup of tea and a biscuit waiting for someone to tell him what to do.
Next day instead of showing some leadership in a time of crisis, he comes out shouting at Aucklanders like an angry grandpa waving his fist at a bunch of teenagers riding their skateboards, until literally the Deputy Mayor takes him by the arm and forcefully leads him away!
Last week he’s telling people who approach him at a public meeting to fuck off!
Sure it was a Spinoff Reporter, so there is an element of joy there. But according to the reports the Wokester didn’t make it clear he was attempting to be a “journalist”. Did Gramps think the was just constituent?
How on earth is that behaviour acceptable from a publicly elected official?
Confusion, swearing, shouting and physical violence are all symptoms of dementia.
Are we going to have to wait until he starts throwing his laptop at people or puts his wallet in the toaster and sets fire to the Council HQ before someone intervenes?
Auckland Council is a massively inefficient farce that does need to be tidied up on the inside. But that requires an individual with skill and capability. Brown has demonstrated neither. He should either resign or be removed from before he causes more damage to this city.

Come the election and everyone votes for National, National will double bus fares and hopefully cure the travelling public of its arrogance
