  1. What about making a compass point change; from Fucking Useless to Fucking Ulysses. Both major political leaders get called the former but I think Hipkins could try for the latter.
    Ulysses is the hero of the Odyssey, written by the Greek poet Homer in the 8th century BC. He is a figure from Greek mythology, which tells stories about war between humans and the gods.

    Sorry this caption has started a line of thought and got long – perhaps it could go up at the end of all the others.
    Now Joyce’s book Ulysses aroused devotion in Ireland – could we parallel that in prosaic NZ/Aotearoa for a Labour leader who has strength of mind and moral purpose? to be true to Labour principles?
