  1. Yes Frank,

Thank god we can have the peoples voice on Waatea news & current affairs.

It is a Government plot to shut down any dissenting voices ahead of an election and national have been doing this every time since 2008 but isn’t it funny that there are no dissenting voices amongst the skeleton crew still at the MSM?

Perhaps they all have been bought with taxpayers slush fund used by the hideous Nazi style repressive Government, so time they spoke up for their future as they will be next on the gang plank.

  2. Jeez Frank, shades of the old country!

It certainly runs deep as well as murky, and yet those complete klutzes called ‘muddle new zillin’ still buy all this horseshit. Unbelievable…

It’s true innit? Whoever controls the media controls the pusilanamous minds of the brainless masses. God help us!

Oy vay, it’s enough to make you weep…

  3. Thanks Frank for putting that all together and exposing the ugly truths.
Just makes us appreciate spots like The Daily Blog more and more.
Looking forward to what Willy and Martyn offer this cesspool called controlled and dominated media in NZ.
Politicians and media executives snuggling up very close in bed and secretly controlling what we the people hear and see. Would love to know – how much — who is paying who ( secretly ) and for what. Sphincter clinching lobbyists and bought out politicians.

Go Willy and Martyn ! ! Looking forward to hearing their work soon.
Breath of fresh air media with some comedy no doubt. We are so hungry for the truths we do not see much anywhere else.

  4. Governments and corporates are welded at the hip these days, it is all about power and preserving the elitists and the club?

  6. Nice work Frank. Duncan Garner and others still forelock tug Joyce on air and as for his partner on Jack-a-story, well her modus operandi made pretty clear in her recent TPPA piece. If all else fails invent.

  7. I still say the Sooner NZers stop giving these people and their advertisers ‘air time’ – the sooner things will change.
Hit them where it hurts – in the pocket.

  8. definitely off topic but can you do an article about the travesty that is NZer of the year – choosing Richie over Louise Nicholas was so wrong on so many levels. I know in the scheme of things it is not important but in some ways it is as it shows NZers willingness to choose a well paid violent performer over someone who is battling to make a change in the way our society sees the young, the weak and the defenseless.

  9. Nice work, Frank, well done. You present the behind-the-scenes analysis we don’t get from the msm.

  10. After reading Amy Maas article, what struck me was the massive sense of entitlement of Christy & Weldon. Good on NZ on Air for following due process and not caving in to the tantrums. These wannabe corporate beneficiaries should practice the National Party ideology of ‘personal responsibility’ and find some funding from the private sector.

  11. Well done, Frank.

That letter Christie sent to the New Zealand On Air Board is a textbook case of attempted bullying. I’m glad that, in the making of the right decision, the New Zealand On Air Board ignored it.

Christie describing herself as having a “. . . deep knowledge of responsible public funding . . .” while facilitating the waste of $27 million dollars to promote John Key’s flag is hilarious.
