Gaza‘s growing death, injury and sickness

In Gaza during the past 24 hours (as above) 5 more Palestinians killed including one from critical wounds and four whose bodies were recovered from under the rubble. The number of wounded has risen to 8.

The total numbers of killed and wounded in Gaza by Israel since 7 October 2023 are: killed 72,239 and wounded 171,861.

Since the start of the Gaza ‘ceasefire’ the Israeli Occupation has killed 763 Palestinians and injured 1,748.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since 7 October 2023 is at least 81 and, that of those injured, is more than 193.

The daily average number of men, women and children killed in Gaza since the ceasefire is at least 4 and, that of those injured, 11.

West Bank

Since 24:00 on 7 October 2023, Israeli Occupation forces have been imposing a complete closure on the West Bank, preventing residents as well as other permit-holders from entering or leaving.The Israeli military also imposes severe, and highly variable, travel restrictions on all residents.

Israeli Army attack – 2 adults wounded and 1 youngster beaten–up: Jerusalem – 18:05, Israeli Occupation forces, stationed at the Beit Iksa checkpoint, opened fire on a man, Ahmed Khalil Saleh, wounding him in the foot, as well shooting and wounding a woman and severely beating the man’s son, who was at her side.

Israeli Army attack – 4 killed (including 2 children) – 2 children wounded and 1 youngster beaten–up – abduction: Tubas – 01:30-04:10, Israeli forces invaded the town of Tammun, opening fire on a motor vehicle and killing a man, his wife and two of their children. The shooting also left wounded the family’s two other children as well as another woman. Two homes were invaded and three people were taken prisoner, including the abduction of a 15- year-old boy: Yaman Hussam Bani Awda. The four killed are: Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh and his wife, Waad Othman Aqel Bani Odeh, two of their children Muhammad (aged 5) and 7- year-old Othman. The three wounded are: Mustafa Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh (aged 8), his brother, 11-year-old Khaled and Nasma Hossam Bani Mustafa Bani Odeh.

Israeli settler attack – 1 killed and 3 wounded: Nablus – 15:55, armed Occupation settlers invaded the western area of ​​Qusra, opening fire on residents as well as their homes, killing one person, Amir Mu’tasim Mahmoud Awda,and wounding three others: Zein Basem Sari Kanaan, Islam Amjad Hashem Odeh and Mu’tasim Mahmoud Odeh.

Israeli Army attack – 1 wounded: Hebron – 21:20, Israeli troops shot and wounded a man, Iyad al-Amleh, near the Tarqumiya crossing.

Home invasions and population–control: Jenin – 01:20, Israeli Occupation forces raided the towns of Qabatiya and Ya’bad, searching several homes and interrogating a Ya’bad resident.

Home invasions in refugee camps – 2 taken prisoner: Tulkarem – the Israeli Army continued its incursions into the city as well as the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps, occupying homes as military outposts. Two more residents were taken prisoner.
