The issue with the rapidly deteriorating Covid situation in China is that a new variant we haven’t seen yet may be on the bubble there.
Yes we have high vaccination rates and yes we have an existing out break here, but it’s the threat of a deadly new variant coming out of China and carried here by fleeing locals that is the problem.

Most people I know accept the risk and get on with life not wanting too much control of their movements by government .
