Friday’s historic climate change march puts the National Party, ACT, NZ First, Hosking, Garner, Kiwiblog and every other climate denier & minimiser on the wrong side of history – tremble at our fury – there is no going back after this climate protest.

I’ve been arguing for some time that this election could be one of the lowest turn outs ever as disgruntled voters weaponise their apathy in the same way they weaponised it for the census.

Abdicating our obligations to the next generation because we are too frightened to embrace the radical changes that are required to adapt to a rapidly warming climate is despicable cowardice that is beneath us and them.

Look, I grew up on a farm, I am very wedded to my early memories and respect how hard it is, but these Farmers aren’t feeding us, they are feeding the 45million other people overseas and we get the scraps. 

“But my property rights” blah blah blah. I don’t give two shits, housing is a necessity, if the   market is so damaged that buying a house and not renting it out is more worthwhile than renting it out, then add penalties to that market to change that dynamic!
