The utter madness of Trump’s #MuslimBan
Where does one begin?
The madness we have just witnessed this weekend over Trump’s latest Executive Order to ban Muslim’s is so extraordinary in it’s counter productiveness, one can barely attempt to evaluate it without screaming at the Computer screen.
The surreal sight of thousands of protestors flocking airports to intervene on the behalf of those detained by this madness was in real time. Muslim’s from the countries Trump banned were handcuffed, had their social media checked and were questioned about their thoughts on Trump.
The State of Liberty should hang her head in shame.
Look at this list of countries Trump has banned Muslims from…
…those ‘Muslim’ countries that Trump has business dealings with, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Lebanon aren’t on the list despite radical Islamists from those nations being the ones who have killed more American’s than any of the countries Trump has punished.
Also note that 5 of the countries Trump has banned are in fact being bombed by America. You want to stop fleeing refugees, stop bombing them!
In terms of actual safety for Americans, last year there were 15 050 gun deaths in America, and what does Trump decide to do? Ban Muslims?
The fucking American handgun is more dangerous to American’s than any Muslim ever will be!
And finally, here’s a point worth remembering – doesn’t Trump make you wish the Democrats hadn’t run a corrupted Primary process and allowed Bernie to win instead? Sanders would have crushed Trump, the Identity Politic Liberals allowed Trump to win and we have 4 years to make sure the Identity Politic Liberals don’t fuck it up again.

Your other point about Bernie is also a reminder of how rotten things are in the Democrat camp. They persist in blaming everyone but themselves for their defeat.

If we perceive politics to be similar to nature, and if there was a vacuum of leadership for concerns of the working and middle classes in the US (and elsewhere), then politics – like nature – abhors that vacuum, and something will arise to occupy it.
Enter one, Donald Trump. History is replete with similar examples.

Obama set the precedent, Trump is just implementing a policy developed by Obama.
So Martin, why is the ‘muslim ban’ madness,crazy,fascist or whatever given the FACT that Obama did the same thing?
The countries being banned are largely the countries that were regarded as enemies under Clinton’s watch ( both when she was working with the Obama and Bush administrations)
…and in some cases these countries have been/are being destroyed by USA and its friends (Saudi Arabia , Israel) eg. Iraq, Libya , Syria…Yemen
…as Europe has found while many of the refugees are desperate innocent men , women and children ( illegitimately expelled from their homelands by illegitimate warmongering, destabilisation and invasion)….there is a lot of anger …and intermixed with genuine refugees are young men bent on revenge and terrorism(ISIS)….which has become a Trojan Horse
….the leaders and perpetrators in the USA and other countries which caused the destruction of Middle Eastern countries….should be called to account before a World Court or something like the Nuremberg Trials and war crime reparations should be made…and the countries restored so that the refugees can go safely back home.
The heirarchy of the Democratic party would rather have Trump than Bernie. With Bernie they would more likely lose the money train.
More people were disrupted by the protesters blocking up roads and carparks than the added vigilance of immigration officers. Jeez, get some perspective.
