Green Party Launches 2026 Election Slogan And Priorities At Party’s AGM

The Green Party Co-leaders have launched their election slogan and campaign priorities at their AGM today.
Following an earlier call for a one year pause on new AI data centres to allow a national conversation on how to protect resources, environment and communities, the Co-leaders launched the Green’s election slogan “For all of us”, and their campaigning priorities.
In her speech to members, Swarbrick referenced the Greens’ 2005 Confidence and Supply Agreement with Labour, which established the Buy Kiwi Made programme.
“The idea was simple. Every day, we get to make choices about the country we want to build. Some are big, and some are small.
“What if every choice we made helped build support for our own communities, building up the jobs, spaces, events and infrastructure that ensure we’re all happier, healthier, safer and having more fun? That’s the kind of economy the Greens have always worked to build.
“The Greens choose to build Kiwipower, to lower bills and protect our ability to make and grow what New Zealanders need. To build real resilience, reducing the need for fossil fuels and climate changing emissions. To rebuild our country into something that we can all be proud of.”
Speaking of both the past and the future, Davidson said in her speech to members “To sum up the Green Party priorities – I am proud to formally launch our campaign slogan today: For All of Us.
“Affordable lives, healthy nature and honest politics – for all of us.
These are the issues Aotearoa needs action on now and in the next three years.
“We will ensure the super rich and big corporations pay their fair share of tax so we can fund the critical services people rely on. We will fix the rules to care for our water so you can drink, swim and fish for generations to come. We will cut your power bills and build the renewable energy our communities deserve.
“These priorities of tax reform, protecting waterways and energy reform are our first three headline policies. There are more to come, and the manifesto sets out our positions across a broader range of topics so people can see what we stand for.
“For all of us’ tells New Zealanders why the Green Party exists, and what our members, candidates, MPs and Councillors work so hard for. This is the message we will be taking to all corners of the country this year, with a relentless focus on affordable living, healthy nature, and honest government.”
